I think everyone, before they run in an election, should be required to submit a hand-written paragraph on any subject they like. So we can see who's running illiterate.

I would change the strike portion to this: On the roles and responsibilities of each government entity at their level.

I'm not sure you can do that in a paragraph, though. So many departments, levels, and agencies overstep and just wait for a court challenge to stop them.

That's why I said, "their level". Although admittedly, that doesn't explain itself well.

So, the mayor has to explain her role and the roles of those around her. What does the city council do? What are her primary responsibilities? Etc.

I would think a good politician could write a very broad explanation of that in a large paragraph.

Honestly, this woman can't spell, but we know there's a hell of a lot of politicians who clearly didn't take a civics class. That's why I want them to write on the subject.

Ahh, I missed that qualification.

Sure, ok, "Do you know what job you're trying to win." Makes sense.

It will be immediately denounced as racist, because it's racist to assume points of contact are literate.

Let's be honest, it is now racist, homophobic, transphobic, ageist, misogynistic, and a dead giveaway to you being a straight, white, male, otherwise known as "literally Hitler" if you don't immediately agree with everything that's forced upon you, whether it be politics, entertainment, etc.

The only criteria that makes someone valuable is if they are a woman, LGBQT2IA+, or a POC, but don't you DARE judge anyone based on those things.

Humans were smarter in the Dark Ages. No cap.

You forgot "priviledged."

A week out from RFK Jr's nomination hearing and his back and forths with Sanders and Warren that went semi-viral, this seems relevant: Senators receiving money from pharmaceuticals.

That post is gone, I assume deleted.

It's like it never happened.

She is still on there talking about how Trump hasn't lowered the cost of groceries yet. I assume she knows how much a dozen eggs costs and it's making her angry enough to make an X post about it.

$700.00 a night hotel rooms for a family of illegal aliens.

$700.00 total for a family who lost everything in NC.
FEMA halts payments for illegals' hotel stays in NYC.

$59M from a "bankrupt" agency is a hell of a check.

It's being reported 4 people were fired for these payments going out.

Should be interesting to see what happens if these payments are truly ended.

This is all indefensible. Not just the check, but the amount of money spent on illegals by the last administration.

And find out what the actual spending bill was called, that that money was hidden in.

Talk to Congress.
While Congress sets the budget, they don't know when FEMA is spending their funds inappropriately. Although, someone, any fucking one, in Congress probably should make a big deal out of the DOD never passing an audit.

Also, Congress didn't send the military to assist illegals in crossing the border. They also didn't sue states to stop them from preventing illegal border crossings. They also aren't vowing to fight the law on the removal of illegals. And so on and so forth.

Imagine a U.S. where the politicians worked as hard for citizens as they do illegals.

USMC is the only branch to pass their audit every year since the requirement. :-D

Which doesn't surprise me. Every single piece of gear is accounted for, and there's an individual Marine held responsible if it isn't. Every single one.

Why would they want to actually audit any program, when it would directly and negatively affect their kickbacks? No one runs for congress to NOT get rich.

So, it's Texas' fault for sending the immigrant to NY, and we should sue Texas?

Correct. Texas sued themselves to allow illegals to cross the border in record numbers and then declared themselves a sanctuary state.
