Beowulf

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Apparently, someone thought this movie needed to be redone for the billionth time. Looks like crap w\ waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much CG for its own good. Let's see if it beats the Chris Lambert version.

Neil Gaimon wrote the script, so I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, he did "Mirrormask," too. That was average at best.

This was a decent flick for about half an hour. It falls apart during the middle & never quite gets going again until the next massive battle (during the last twenty or so minutes). I suppose if you had a chance to see this in 3-D or iMax w\ surround sound, it might be worth it. If you ain't watching it like that, then it's a renter at best. Neil Gaiman proves yet again that his writing should stay in comics & graphic novels.

I thought it was so-so. Watching how they did all the motion capture was the best part.

The CG was beautiful. The animations still ain't close to capturing all the subtleties of human facial expression & movement, though.
