TV - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I didn't care for the end of "Normal Again".

I realize they were having a bit of fun and everyone involved has come out saying that isn't "the truth" of the show, but it still rips one out of the show's immersion. How can it not be the truth? It's what we're shown last.

Nearing the last episodes of the last season (one good thing about the flu).

My biggest question right now is: "Why isn't there a third slayer?" Unless one comes popping in unexpectedly, there's been a mistake in the writing.

Also, not a huge fan of how the entire Council, Watchers, and Slayers were shown to have worked. Seemed really dumb. No world spanning organization in any other show has ever seemed so impotent and worthless.

Oh hey, Nathan Fillion just showed up! 4 episodes to go. I'll finish the series tomorrow.

A remake was in the works and a pilot filmed, but Hulu passed on it.

Speculation is that it was so bad that they couldn't fix it. Disney released a statement saying they are sticking with Buffy and are going to go back to the drawing board.

No Joss Whedon and only Sarah Michelle Gellar was returning.
