I can't believe the search feature could find neither "aeon" nor "flux" in anything besides the Riddick thread.
Anyway, it's a tolerable movie, but I see some problems:
Cure for the virus left people sterile, or something. A cloning process was put into place to fool people so they would not notice it. The dictatorship went on 7 generations, and then women started getting pregnant naturally... and this is a problem that requires mass kidnappings and executions of pregnant women? Why? These people thought they were conceiving naturally, anyway. So I don't get that, and it was a major motivation in the plot.
Monkey girl was really incompetent, wasn't she.
The old dude in the oversized body sock in the blimp... what's the deal? Was he 500 years old?
At the end when the football went through the wall it would have been funny if hundreds of wild animals would have flooded the city and just began a mass orgy of eating people who had never seen wild animals before.
Aeon Flux *spoilers*
The brother wanted to hold onto power, which he couldn't do if the population expanded and they ended up opening up the wall. Or something like that. It's kinda crappy, yeah, but i can sort of buy it ... kinda.
The guy in the blimp was supposed to be still alive after 500 years, yes. But then someone decided to reedit it so it looked like he was a holigram or something. It turned from kinda stupid to kinda confusing, which isn't much of an improvement IMO.

Yeah, the movie was entertaining for the action, but like you said, the story was pretty bad.

"Ultraviolet" had a story?I doubt it beats out ultraviolent in the terrible story department. Movie was like a 2 hour video game.Yeah, the movie was entertaining for the action, but like you said, the story was pretty bad.
