Becoming elderly
Becoming elderly
I like to think that when I am 70 and 80 I will not be one of those clueless people constantly worried about his pills, or fixed income, or adult diapers, or teenagers, or the robot uprising.... but how do I check myself if I start doing those things? How does 45 year old me convince 70 year old me that he is being an idiot, and make it stick?

Re: Becoming elderly
Man, who knows. But if you figure it out, let me know. One of my worries is that 30 years from now all the work I've done to manage my finances will be blown by something stupid.
It's not me, it's someone else.
Re: Becoming elderly
Some people may be genetically predisposed to such things and there's little you can do in the medical realm. Have fun as that roulette wheel slows down and you can see what number's coming up for you. Teenagers? Stop being so damned old, old man. Robot uprising? Hopefully, your living doesn't depend upon easily automatic labour. Fixed income? Earn some benjamins.I like to think that when I am 70 and 80 I will not be one of those clueless people constantly worried about his pills, or fixed income, or adult diapers, or teenagers, or the robot uprising.... but how do I check myself if I start doing those things?
And you probably will only get her stage name, too.One of my worries is that 30 years from now all the work I've done to manage my finances will be blown by something stupid.
