Re: Good movies?

I can only speak on the ones I've seen, but just looking at my reviews on the first few pages of the Movies forum:

Godzilla Minus One - If you're skipping it because "Godzilla", you're making a bad call. Genuinely, a phenomenal human drama.
Project Hail Mary
The Housemaid
Send Help
Both Sisu movies ...

Not buying it, and to be fair, I say that as someone who defaults to "politician = crook" regardless of gender, race, party, etc.

Re: The Democratic Party

$30M (or even $6M) and $100K are dramatically different numbers. There is no excuse or reality that justifies confusing $30M and >$100K while it was publicly scrutinized over a period of months.

This has been going on since 2025, initially she said it was because of her husband's business. People ...

Oh no, Indians are super racist.

SUPER, but oddly, not super malicious about it. You don't really hear about violent crime on other races from Indians, but if your company hires an Indian CEO and you're not Indian, you'll be gone within 3 years.

Most everyone is at least a little racist ...

The most under the radar racism going on in the U.S. today is from Indians. (Not Native Americans.)

Change my mind.

This will create an illegal market too. Younger people will get access for years before theirs suppliers are aged out.

Plus, it's wrong of a government to deny people to after sex cigarette.

Re: Smoking: People are not

England is slowly banning tobacco and vaping.

This is a classic freedom vs "what's best for society" situation.

I'm ultimately against this ban.

Should people smoke or vape? No. Do these industries mostly target kids? Yes. Will it be a net win for the country if people don't smoke or vape? Yes ...
