From here. Ted Kennedy may be dead, but that just means Jimmy thinks he's an easy target.

"The fact is that we would have had comprehensive health care now, had it not been for Ted Kennedy’s deliberately blocking the legislation that I proposed," Carter tells Lesley Stahl, according to a 60 Minutes press release today. "It was his fault. Ted Kennedy killed the bill."

Carter also repeats in the interview his view that Kennedy ran against him for the 1980 nomination out of spite. "He did not want to see me have a major success in that realm of life," Carter says.

Yep, it's all about you, Jimmy.

Seems like Jimmy is mad about losing the "Worst living President" title, and now he is trying to explain how he would have been as bad as Obama is Ted hadn't blocked his bill.

I might have to give Jimmy THAT. He's done a shitload of charity work with that... build-houses-thing he does... not sure if that balances all of his "I hate Jews and love terrorists" stuff, though.

And he did stop a war once that I was all psyched up for, 4 hours before we were supposed to assault, so that's a negative.

Had the live ammo and grenades and everything. Sigh.
