Suing for infringement of over 20 patents.
"We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions, or we can do something about it. We've decided to do something about it," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours."

Your brain took a walk off the map years ago, didn't it?

Some of those patents are reasonable and probably original. Most are crap.

Overall this is another example of just how far Apple has strayed from it's original image as portrayed in that 1984 ad. These days it would be Jobs on the screen and a penguin on the runners shirt.

Apple removes app from store right after the developer said the Apple store sucked.

Apple doesn't just import their products from China.

Like they invented the personal computer...

Like they invented the mouse...

Like they invented the MP3 player...

Like they invented all the features of an iPhone...

Have they actually "invented" anything that is worth a damn?

Apple is simply a marketing firm. The only thing different from them and other marketing firms is that Apple pimps its own products.

As much as I dislike Apple for their closed platforms, I would say they clearly have the right to do it that way. I'd hate to see the government force them to be more open.

Especially for crappy software like Flash, which is really what this little Adobe tantrum is about.

I don't even care if they get slammed with a fine or not, I just want their natural "holier than thou" attitude to get played out in front of everyone.
