For those of us who are married.
In my family, I handle the money (mostly). Investing, budget setting, etc.
According to my wife, we are an anomaly among her friends.
Admittedly, my wife is an accountant, and knows other accountants, so among them she is the only female who did not handle the finances. But, I've been managing my own investments since 1995, and have BA in Econ and MBA in Finance.

Initially, she did. But I kept criticizing her accounting style, and she told me FINE, YOU DO IT THEN, so I did for several years.
But then I got sick, and she took back over, again. She has been doing the books the last 10 years. I would probably disapprove if I inquired into the accounts too closely.

Depends on what you mean by "handle". My wife makes sure the personal bills get paid, I pay the business bills, but we both know where the money is/went/needs to go/etc.

When I was married my wife handled the money.
Now that I'm single and make significantly less money than I did before, I'm much better off financially.
Odd how that works.

Just who does it more, really. Yall sounds kinda split. I do the bills, the budgeting, the investing, etc. But my wife pays attention, knows where the money goes, and we discuss any big spending plans, etc. But I would say I handle it/do more work.
