I use Mint. It tells you when large purchases, etc happen.

Your $3,000.00 purchase from Internal Revenue Service has cleared your ***** - CHECKING account.

I've never thought of it as a purchase before. Not getting my money's worth.

One usually doesn't get a receipt from the IRS.
