Apparently in NC there's an amendment to outlaw gay marriage, or something. I honestly don't give a crap. What is annoying me is the stupid facebook crap, like this:

"FACT: 1 in 4 women are victims of domestic violence!"

BULL. SHIT. Do people even think about the numbers they throw out?

They also claim that if this amendment passes, ONLY married women can "qualify for domestic violence protections. Unmarried women would be left vulnerable to their attackers and stalkers."

BULL. SHIT. SQUARED.

This "domestic violence" stuff is like gun control. Why does beating up a person have to be illegal-er? Assault is assault.

Domestic violence and abuse is not limited to obvious physical violence. Domestic violence can also mean endangerment, criminal coercion, kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, trespassing, harassment, and stalking

I dunno, if you cast your net wide, with a liberal interpretation of "violence" then I wouldn't be surprised.
