My kids use "no fair!" like a liberal uses "Fascist!"----it means "I'm not getting my way!"
Where do they learn this? I don't recall ever even saying the phrase.

This would make an excellent ad campaign.
Show adults throwing temper tantrums like children when they don't get their way.
"Sorry Billy, but if you want a new car, you're going to have have to work hard for it."
"Waaaaaaaaahhhhh! That's not fair!!!"
