There are lots of Battlefront Threads out there for the old games, but here is one for the new game coming out.

SO upset when I saw EA was behind this. It'll be Battlefield skinned for Star Wars, so in other words, it'll be a major disaster. . . . Just as any other title EA has purchased the rights to.

Yeah. EA got Battlefront and any future X-Wing/TIE Fighter games. Looks like I won't be getting near either of those franchises for awhile.

As I've always said, I would still pay money for an XvT game with updated graphics. That game was perfect, in its time.

XvT was X-Wing and TIE Fighter with updated graphics.

I agree with that. TF may have even been a slightly better game.... IIRC the original XvT didn't really have a campaign, it took an expansion to add one.

Both X-Wing and TIE were single player. Seems they would have made ok multi. But, yeah, XvT was strictly multi on release, like a flight sim battle arena.

No campaign. No server browser. Matchmaking, or nothing.

It's that awesome EA quality. I can only assume EA = Electronic Assholes at this point.
