Thread for when we start playing it. Also, it's $2 on Steam. $6 for the 4 pack.

Do we need/want the $1 DLC?

Can I decide to get the $1 DLC after the fact?

Probably not for 1$

I bought it just now. It's two new scenarios, new weapons, and 48 new levels, and $1.

I'm insane enough to throw in another $1. Going to start rearranging the room for a table + chair combo.

Enjoy it when I am not around. Doesn't look fun.

Yeah, what's fun about pulling off a heist while cops are swarming in trying to stop you?

By the way, it's why I never sent you a copy. I had a hunch you were going to reject it for whatever reason.

You still play TF2 though...

You don't want to play Reservoir Dogs the game? The fuck's wrong with you, Mr. Orange?

To be clear for those of you just looking at pictures or watching the videos, if I was a betting man, I'd guess this game was built on the L4D engine.

FYI: This game is awesome. Cake, Stranger, and I have been playing it when Old Man Gordo's in bed.

Non-stop action, and teamwork is critical.

The only downside is our "still better than Lou Bruce" AI teammate. (Inside joke for Cake and Gordo.)

Going to make a concerted effort to hit the dreaded IKEA this week for a cheapo desk/chair. Costco ain't got shit.

Oh, fuckest thou. I hate going to the IKEA up here. Get the vibe it's built on an ancient Indian burial ground or something.

EDIT: Desk found. HOLY FUCK. When did desk chairs get so goddamned expensive?

EDIT the second: Goddamn chair costs as much as the goddamn desk. Will see how much of a augur up the ass job the delivery fee is, then I'll either do that or arrange transport.

Desk, chair, and rug haunted by the spirits of the Native American deceased are purchased. Non-haunted headset + mic combo also had (bought it across the street). Now I get to spend some time playing macro-Tetris with my current apartment layout and assembling things that Swedes were too lazy to.

Desk is done, beeyatches. Chair should be done tomorrow. Now I just need this game to go on sale. Can get back into BL2 at least.

Delivering beer in a bit. Will assemble the chair using a Constructicons-to-Devastator strategy upon my return.

Chair done. Good to go now but heading back later for the arm rests.

There's a Payday web series on Steam now. 6 episodes.

The first two are decent, but it goes down hill from there.

Got to scratch this itch last night.

This might be one of the hardest games I've ever played or we're just playing it wrong.

I think the key is sticking together, defending one spot during an assault, and then moving after the assaults end.

Also, each stage seems to have 3 areas, so saving an ammo bag for each is critical.

It's very heavily weighted towards teamwork. Having individual skills and gear is the base minimum. All it takes is one dude going cowboy or panicking and the other three get gradually overwhelmed unless they can hold out until bail. Check some Twitch TV feeds.
