I saw loads of people on Twitter saying things like:
"They could have paid off everyone's student debt with this", "We need to re-prioritize things in this country", and other such things.
Well, yes and no people. Shit is never that simple. There's always a counter argument like that money never having been budgeted if the plane didn't exist, it would have gone elsewhere, all of that money would have been removed from the manufacturer, all of its suppliers, local support companies, employees, etc.
