An expansion for the game Shadowgrounds that I reviewed here.

Set alongside the story of the original this follows three individuals trying to get to New Atlantis before an alien invasion hits.

There is some really good stuff, and really bad stuff here.

The bad:
-The story is all over the place. A lot of stuff is glossed over, and no explanation is given for pretty much everything driving the story.
-The controls have changed a bit. It's harder to line up shots without rotating the screen by using your house along the edges. It's odd that they made such a huge control change for an expansion.
-The game is ridiculously easy. There are two levels where you're piloting a mech, and you could easily do it with your eyes closed.

The good:
-They removed the huge number of weapons at your disposal and instead gave each character three.
-Experience is now earned with points given to purchase helpful special abilities. Each character has a few different ones with the girl's killing spree easily being the best of the bunch.
-You drive a mech with dual mounted mini guns. What's not cool about that?
-It's kinda long, but not as long as the original.

There's more, but this can be summed up pretty easy:
"If you find the original and this packaged together for a good price (under $10), they're a decent buy if you like top down action. Nothing revolutionary, nothing too exciting, but a nice distraction.
