I made a similar argument a couple decades ago.... vegetarians are people without any real problems, so they invent them.

Seems like he's an attention whore type of person, and honestly, if he didn't document this and film it for a self-made documentary, he's an idiot.

However, he's not wrong. Just declare you're transitioning and suddenly you're an oppressed victim that deserves special treatment.

I look forward to the day when people come to their senses and remember it's a mental disorder, not something wonderful and magical. Then we can hopefully actually help these people.

I wonder if "Equilibrium," the emotion-suppressing drug from the movie of the same name, would "fix" body dysmorphia. It's all about feelings, right? I don't feel like I'm in the correct body?

I have a neighbor that claims that she did not have access to her 12 year old daughter's medical information. As in, she took her daughter to the doctor, and the doctor would not discuss her daughter's condition until her daughter signed documents allowing them to.

I'm asking those with underage daughter's if this is really how it is now.

I'm putting this here because it's this movement that would cause this.

This preceded trans stuff, iirc it was mostly about birth control/pregnancy. Laws vary by state, practices vary by doctor, iirc. Ours does something about not having direct access, but I don't remember the details.

I've never bumped into that, with the boy. Of course everything changed when he turned 18, but even then I had to remind the pediatrician one day that I could no longer make his appointments for him (or whatever that situation was)......
