I was thinking one on each side.

And there's some dude sleeping in the middle of the floor of our house!

There's a fourth hearth fire in our camp. Anyone claiming it?

I say we make a rule, that untill we have a bigger house. No sleeping in the house! You have to walk around him to get to everything!

Holy crap...

I went searching and searching for sand.

To our South/South East, about 10-15 minutes walking through forests... there is a HUGE lake, with a beach....

I stopped collecting intestines after the first bear. So, they ain't my intestines cluttering it up. And if people are going to complain about the food I'm bringing home and cooking, they can start hunting themselves.

I'm out every day, slaving away, putting myself in harms way to provide, and I have to come home to this shit. . .

I'm going to the bar.

Due to the amount of clutteredness, I'm not bringing bones home any more till some of these are used up. Running out of space. So, if you need glue or something, have at them. I'm leaving 10+ in the field as it is.

I don't need bones for anything I can think of.

Only use for them I know is to make arrows...which should be a pretty compact way of using the, i thought.

We only need the glue to make that first post.

Archery is really slow, and I don't have enough support skills to make it do enough damage to beat sling/rocks. I'm looking forward to your 'super sling' you mentioned. I'll start converting the bones to arrows for future use then. If something changes, let me know. Same with intestines. If we come up with a need (sausage?), I can supply them in large numbers.

Supersling is coming along... farming is pretty realistic, i've been only regrowing high quality, which in turn turns into better stuff to plant, repeat....

I don't have any points in sewing though, so hopefully you do, when the time comes. I can probably get you some Q20 string in a few days...

Now that I have more skills, I am able to harvest some of the crops. Should I be doing that? Anything special to be done with what is harvested? I'm guessing your skills are higher and will get better stuff, but, I want to do my part! So, if I should be harvesting or anything else with the plants, let me know.

The trees are getting big!

Also, I just tried to place a claim to the east of yours. Plan was to extend the claim to include the east wall we are building. It said that I could not extend my claim so close to someone elses. So, it's up to you to extend it. . .

When we find a second place to set up shop, I'd be happy to get it started. Don't know if we want to do one next to the lake or something. Or just wait till/if we find a mine.

I should be able to see rustroot. I'll go look for some this weekend and then we can start the process to go try to find a mine.

I don't know about farming. Check it on the wiki. It might be that when i put the crops in the ground, my farming skill takes precedence.

I generally eat the stuff that sucks, and put the better quality stuff back into the ground, so it's constantly getting better.

The Hemp is good to harvest... you can use 5 of the good strings to make a uber sling.

I'm farming LP right now for sewing. Going to get it up to 25 and then make the sling.

Went way up river and am deforesting an area making looms. It's a good way to gain and do other stuff, I'm finding. I have to baby sit it getting them setup. But then each one takes a few minutes to build and my attention can wander to other things.

Quality is checked on harvesting, not planting. You can harvest seeds up to your farming skill. Replant the better seeds and they should grow back better, but limited to your farming skill.

So, if it's not a problem, I'll let you harvest as I've only got 1 farming. Unless you only have 1 too. What's the quality you have been getting?

Sling quality is determined by your survival skill. So, unless we need sewing for something else, I was gonna skip it and put the points into something else.

I was going to try it out, but it's way too small. Using ":fs 0" doesn't seem to work on Windows 7.

Any idea how to make this thing larger? Without having to change my desktop screen resolution? As it is it's unplayable on my system.
