That's pretty true. Especially once you harm others. But I don't love government requiring me to do things all the time. But I'm all for people who are uninsured, and, say, get in accidents, being in jail forever.

You know who loves to be uninsured? Illegals.

That's why in my DACA alternative I specifically mentioned them needing insurance.

Oregon's Sec of State under ethics investigation.

Even without seeing Oregon in the title I knew she was a D because the article doesn't immediately tell me her party affiliation.

Aside from that:
-I think I would...? But really only because of her position of power.
-$77K in Oregon for the Sec of State? Fuck. You're begging people to take brides and sidegigs.

Moderate D beats progressive D for Philly mayor nominee.

She still has to face the R candidate, but that's a layup in Philly.

The progressive candidate was endorsed by Sanders and AOC, so her loss is one to note.

I love how the article first blames Rs for the progressive candidate not winning.
Gym’s campaign, though, was dealt a late blow by a storm of attack ads from a super PAC bankrolled by Republican donor Jeffrey Yass, who has spent roughly a million dollars on ads and mailers.
THEN mentions all the Ds who were supporting the winner.
Parker also enjoyed the support of influential labor outfits. The powerful Philadelphia Building Trades Council has endorsed her, along with Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 32BJ, which represents school workers like bus drivers, among others.

S Reps. Dwight Evans and Brendan Boyle as well as state Sens. Vincent Hughes and Sharif Street also backed Parker, who had the broad support of the city’s Black political establishment.

Mayor Jim Kenney, who is term-limited, did not officially endorsed Parker before the primary, but told reporters last week that he voted for her.
Even later it says progressive votes were split between two candidates, which probably should have been the first thing pointed out...

Sounds like Parker has some good ideas that appeal to both sides:
She is proposing an education reform package that would keep schools open longer each day and all year-round. But she has drawn some backlash over her support for the use of “stop and frisk” tactics by police as part of their efforts to root out guns and gun violence, so long as the practice follows constitutional guidelines.

“It’s not an either-or,” Parker said in a debate. “You will be held accountable, we will also have reform, but we will use every tool in the toolbox to ensure that our city is safer and cleaner and greener.”
Yay Moderates! We need more moderates on both sides to win elections.

The Rs were right about Massachusetts' AG.

Love how the article does nothing but praise her for a long time until finally getting to her "ethical lapses" that were buried as deeply as possible.

I read a different article about it yesterday from CNN that said she had been actively trying to influence an election via nefarious means.

Black female GA D leaving for the Rs.

When asked about pushback from democrats she said "The most dangerous thing to the Democrat Party is a black person with a mind of their own. So, it wouldn’t surprise me."

Israeli president addresses Congress, while some "Progressives" boycotted.

Boycotting speeches or protesting them, refusing to listen to differing opinions, shunning people or trying to cancel them, immediately labeling people the worst insults possible if they don't walk in perfect step, etc.

Are we really supposed to be impressed with an 8 hour thirst strike?

Ever seen a movie where the lead actor takes off their shirt and their abs are absolutely shredded? That's day 4 of a thirst strike... They do that for that one shot, but you can only do 8 hours? Ghandi is not impressed.

Feinstein saw Yertle the Turtle's impressive display and said, "Hold my beer."
During Thursday’s hearing, Feinstein was meant to cast her vote on the Defense Appropriations bill, requiring her to say “Aye” or “Nay,” when her name was called. When she didn’t answer, Democratic Sen. Patty Murray of Washington state tried to prompt her.

“Say aye,” she said, repeating herself three times to Feinstein.

Feinstein then started to read from prepared remarks, and was interrupted by an aide whispering in her ear.

“Yeah,” Murray said once again. “Just say ‘aye.’”

“OK, just,” Feinstein replied.

“Aye,” Murray repeated once more.

Then Feinstein sat back in her chair. “Aye,” she said, casting her vote.
Here's her team's lie...I mean statement about what happened:
A Feinstein spokesperson later said, “Trying to complete all of the appropriations bills before recess, the committee markup this morning was a little chaotic, constantly switching back and forth between statements, votes, and debate and the order of bills.”

“The senator was preoccupied, didn’t realize debate had just ended and a vote was called,” the spokesperson said. “She started to give a statement, was informed it was a vote and then cast her vote.”
What parent would let her babysit their kids? None, right? But she can run the fucking country?

Biden has three aliases and secret email accounts for them going back a whole lot of years.

There is talk that some of these aliases are tied to offshore bank accounts, but I haven't dug that deep.

This is being covered by left and right outlets, but oddly, not by CNN. So weird...

Eric Adams and Joe Biden break up over illegal immigration.

Sorry CNN, but you can go fuck yourself. I refuse to call them "asylum seekers" just because your D overlords figure that'll make it more palatable to voters.

I think you should get more familiar with immigration laws + statuses.

https://www.usa.gov/asylum

That's been a thing for decades, is a specific program, and has whatever requirements.

Migrants seems to be the word they are using instead of illegal aliens.

Negative ghost rider. Who doesn't know that "asylum seekers" is a legit class of immigrants? (FYI, some of these "asylum seekers" have created a crisis at the border of Columbia that continues to go unreported. Probably because they're fleeing former MSM Socialism darling Venezuela.)

Quick name the reason all of these people qualify to be asylum seekers:
Able to demonstrate that you were persecuted or have a fear of persecution in your home country due to your:
Race
Religion
Nationality
Social group
Political opinion
There has been a very strong effort by the Ds to rename illegals to asylum seekers. (Similar to how "man-made global warming" became "Climate Change".) You may not remember when the hundreds of thousands of "asylum seekers" were waiting for that Trump-Covid provision to end, but Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Migrants are a completely different thing.

Migrants = good.
Asylum Seekers = good.
Immigrants = good.
Illegals = bad.
