Speaking of Twitch (you were discussing it in another thread), Stranger and I were legit discussing it this week. I have the PC and bandwidth for it, and before anyone scoffs and says, "You're not good enough", understand that we're playing at other Twitch streamers' elo. Stranger and I went back to back games in other people's Twitch streams that ngiht. In the first one, I got 4 kills, including the last kill which was the streamer. In the second, the streamer died first on our team and he was in a Dire Wolf. He was dead in the first 1-2 minutes, which takes serious skill... It was "Andy Dalton" and we've played with or against him several times now. He's considered to be a good player, and here we are, at his elo.
On a different note, clan war horns are on sale this weekend. Hooray! Now we get to hear it more often when some dipshit driving an OP mech kills someone and thinks he achieved something. :p

Yeah, I would say that our ELO has risen quite a bit in the recent months. I happen to read the Reddit page just about everyday and I have noticed a lot of those people's names in our games. Now this doesn't mean that they are good just because they post a lot on a Reddit page, but they've gotta be good if they are posting a lot and have a good knowledge of the game. They are playing the game all of the time so they are better than the average joe.
Russ happened to mention this in lastnight's town hall. 38 is Average ELO Difference IN Solo QUEUE Group Queue 188
. So yeah, we are playing with people really close to us in terms of ELO. I commonly see players from Lords, CGBI, -MS-, SJR, SRoT, and they are considered really good units.
I've yet to see SeanLang, Bombadil, Edmeister or JagerXII in a game though so we aren't at the top ELO, but I'd say were in the top 30-40%, just a guess. Could be higher, but I don't know.
Leisher is good enough to stream for sure. The key is having something that keep people coming back. Usually people with really good knowledge of the game and give tips while they play keep people coming back. Or just someone that's funny and interacts with the people are good enough to keep peoples interest, you don't necessarily need to be good but it helps.

Woohoo, first game a win with 4 kills, 6 assists. It was close the entire game so I couldn't pull punches, plus firing 60 missiles at a time means I couldn't if I wanted to.

I was thinking of running my Atlases this weekend, but if we're grouping up I might run with Centurions to help our queue times. I love my Cataphracts, but I've kind of given up on heavies a bit because it's always the largest percentage of what people are running.
P.S. trying to get access to a Twitch account I setup a long time ago. We'll try streaming some night soon.

Why am I always on the team that ignores capture points? I suck every match except those, because we lose on points and the last enemy light alive hauls ass.

I do think they've learned from the last challenge like this one. The 3 days of premium are simple to get, then the Raven is next, then the cockpit item, then the camo pattern.
So far I seem to be doing really well in my Centurions and Atlas-DC. Several games tonight I've been the high score.
One thing I noticed in the last game. I ended with a match score of 70 with 3 kills and 5 assists with 429 damage (or something). I was in a Centurion (a medium).
Another guy in my Lance in a light finished with 3 kills, 3 assists and 409 damage, but 71 for match score...?

Right now 14 games, 8 of them qualified. Probably 5 that I lost were conquest maps that my team didn't bother capturing points.

How do elos work when we team up?
Gordo and I both had success solo, then we teamed up and our success rate went way down. (I was 6 of 8 and he was 10 of 17.)
I saw competent teamwork and good strategy when I was solo.
Once we teamed up it was nothing but morons shooting teammates in the back to try and steal kills, two people who powered down until late (again trying to steal late kills), and you could tell by the play it was amateur hour. No grouping or when they did it was too tight. Smoke canisters dropped in terrible places. Etc.

Heheheheheh. Leisher and Stranger Twitch.TV streaming?!? Never would have thought I'd see the day. Whose going to watch you guys though? Where you getting your fan base from? I've always streamed, for a good 2 years now I've done it weeks at a time for MUCH more popular/higher interest games such as League of Legends and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. So, I do wish you luck guys as always, but the sad truth that I'm breaking to you now is??????
You'll really just be streaming to watch yourself later on. . . Near impossible to get even just one viewer, for anymore than 2 minutes.

Is there a definitive MW wiki or something? I got the "Advance Target Decay" module for 6mil and it doesn't seem to work very well. Supposed to keep your target lock for 3 seconds after you would otherwise lose it, but I still get 1-second locks.
