Now I can see why I still have never had one single headshot kill ever!
Also, look at them Stalkers torsos. When you look head on at them its almost impossible to hit the CT. Just a little movement and they can roll the incoming damage quite easily. No wonder they're so hard to kill. I'm just shooting for the legs on them anymore.

Leisher, looks like you're going to be eligible for these anniversary mechs because you purchased the collectors edition of the Urbanmech.

Nice. I hope to return to playing tonight, but I'm still a bit under the weather. Plus, I haven't slept a lot the past few days. If I'm not on tonight, it'll be tomorrow for certain.

So I've been reading that now that LP rewards are fixed with this patch that people are going from faction to faction getting to level 6 to get the rewards bonus. At level 6 you will have earned 2 mechbays and 2 cockpit items, so this looks like an easy way to earn like 8-10 free mechbays.
You do lose like 15 LP per kill for a faction you were once associated with but you win like 50,000 or more per win so that's negligible.

So for $40, I received:
-60 days of premium time (retails at $24 per current pricing)
-6 mech bays
-a king crab
-an atlas variant I did not have
-another Centurion AH (I now have 2)
-2 Urbanmech variants
-a special urbanmech variant
-all of those mechs except the 2 regular Urbanmech variants get a 30% cbill bonus in matches
-custom skins on those same mechs
-2 titles
-2 badges
-3 each of Urbanmech warhorns, hanging items, and standing items
I think that worked out well!
I still have some stomach distress, but I'll hopefully be able to stick around for a game tonight Gordo and definitely this weekend.

Good deal! also, those mechs have a custom paint job and 30% c-bill bonus on them. So even though you own the Centurion, this one will be better!
I'll be on tonight too. I logged on yesterday for a quick second to see what level I was at in Steiner, Im at 4. Already got my LP rewards for levels 1-4, so I wouldn't mind playing some CW to play the new map and get some more LP.

My interest in CW tonight will be determined by my stomach pain. If I feel I can sit there fore 30 minutes, cool.

I suddenly got a mech bay last night, and don't know why. I had 11 and they were full now I have 12 and 1 is free.

This weekends event promotes simply playing however you want.
No individual rewards. Instead, rewards are earned as a community and it knocks down the price of expensive modules.

Some colors, patterns, and cockpit items are on sale this weekend.
I should be on both nights. Probably 10ish or so.
BTW, if we do want to do the CW thing, we should probably think about joining up with an established unit or ally with one. Although, one VoIP is in game, dropping with other randoms won't be as big an issue since we'll be able to communicate as effectively as 12 man premades.

Skye Rangers of Terra (SRoT) will be hosting a CW Event tonight that will include a good number of the Permanently Contracted Units and we want to make sure that everyone knew that the event is open to anyone who currently has a Steiner Contract. Solo, Small Unit, Big Unit? It doesn't matter.... we want to have some fun and meet some new pilots.

This is pretty cool, I've seen SRoT quite a bit, prolly one of the biggest Steiner units around. It might not be a bad idea to drop with fellow Steiners sometime, I'm sure we'd have much better success in CW.
I'm going to a friends house tonight and I won't be home till late, so not sure if or when i'll be on. But I thought I'd post this for future reference.
