TTUN is fighting the NCAA allegations over cheating scandal.
Let's check in on one of the biggest defenders of TTUN throughout this scandal and an actual lawyer:
Jim Harbaugh shouldn't be idolized by TTUN fans, he should be vilified. He was offered a shortcut and he took it. Plus, he eats his boogers.

I'm really enjoying X today. Got a natty this week and a week later I get to watch TTUN start to meltdown because they're finally realizing they did cheat and the ban hammer is looming.
Illinois HC takes a shot.
Underrated point.
Either this fan is breathtakingly stupid or is next level sarcastic.
1 1/2* championships is 80 years for the team not listed here.
BTW, ESPN latest predictor for next year has OSU, TTUN, and UNC all in the 12 team playoff.

That feels a bit delulu, but UNC's schedule is not bad next year. 2 games they will probably lose, 4 50-50s, and 6 wins. So could be 10-2 at the end, but I'm guessing 8-4.

Do they? Cuz their too early top 25 doesn't have UNC.
This article does:
https://archive.is/i90q7 but only cuz of this idea
Rule No. 2: The Curt Cignetti Memorial "Transfers = Total Transformation" Bid.
The transfer portal era means we have to save a spot for an out-of-nowhere stunner.
...
Let's lay out the list of candidates. After a strange coaching carousel, we ended up with only five P4 schools with new head coaches: North Carolina (Bill Belichick), Purdue (Barry Odom), UCF (Scott Frost), Wake Forest (Jake Dickert) and West Virginia (Rich Rodriguez). They've each taken in at least 18 transfers, with WVU leading the way with 31.
...
Among these 14 playoff long shots are quite a few teams with intriguing stories at quarterback
...
The only thing more incredible than watching Belichick get subjected to a mayo bath after winning the Duke's Mayo Bowl would be watching Belichick guide North Carolina to an out-of-nowhere CFP bid.
So, yeah, they admit it's a reach.

And our OL coach.
This is what happens when you win. People want to copy what you did. (Tomlin only ever experienced it with Cowher's staff, and never since.)
We knew Chip was temp.
There was a falling out between Knowles and Day/Johnson, plus Knowles moved closer to home and is now the highest paid coordinator in college football.
Losing Frye sucks because he really made a makeshift line perform awesomely in the CFP.
But, they were not the first the leave and won't be the last nor does it spell doom for the program. For example: OSU's last three HCs all won national titles...

Which is better (to you). National Championship, or beating Michigan? I'll answer after you do.

I know you're talking to Leisher, but I'd rather a Natty than beating a rival. Too bad Michigan doesn't know what a natty is.

I thought about this very question a few days ago.
It's the Natty. The Natty is the ultimate goal for every team.
My math is like this:
Would I rather end every season having beaten TTUN, but not ever winning a Natty?
OR
Would I rather end every season being the National Champions?
Being the National Champs outweighs everything else. You are the best of the best. Losses during the season don't matter.
Every single TTUN asshole, the ones who are doing the "yeah, but we beat you" bullshit, would trade that win against OSU for the Natty in a New York minute.
The 1997 OSU Buckeyes were one of the best teams ever assembled. It broke records for most people drafted and yada yada yada. They beat TTUN that year, but stumbled against Nick Saban's Spartans of MSU. That cost them the opportunity to play for the national title. Important because they were the favorites all year and #1 all year. THAT'S what people remember, not beating TTUN.

I just don't care about the grand scheme of things the way you guys do. Sure, winning nationals would be a cherry on top, but beating OSU is the best. I feel pretty good about our season last year. If you search, I've said it before. I'm ok with a losing season as long as we beat MSU and OSU. I would NOT trade an OSU victory for nationals. I didn't even watch our bowl game. Couldn't tell you if we won or lost. Granted, it didn't mean anything. But I'm ok that the last game I saw this past year was us beating OSU.
Now I wonder how the departing players (OSU) feel. Sure, they won nationals, but they never got to beat Michigan. I'm only mentioning OSU players for this scenario because they are in the unique position where they've won nationals, but never beat Michigan. Has that ever happened before? Never beating Michigan, or OSU has got to be a very bitter pill to swallow.

Yeah, that's insane. Do you go to team bars every night and say "We beat you!"?
I want nattys. 2nd is beating Duke.

They won natty, and Michigan hasn't had one since 1997. I bet they feel pretty good. Also, 3/4 of those games are meaningless since Michigan was cheating.

No. I don't even know what a team bar is.

I'd say I live in a pretty small sports bubble. About 75% of my 'sports talk' happens in this forum (and you see how little that is). The other 25% would be the occasional family gathering. I guess I just like the simple things in life. Like a lollypop in my mouth and beating OSU.

While all of that is true, I still have to wonder how much it will haunt them. Unless my perception of college football (Michigan vs OSU) culture is wrong. I'd talk about the asterisk that the Michigan players have to live with. . . but unfortunately, I feel like the ones that see the asterisk are few and far between (and those that do would never mention it). My family gets pretty upset (and by upset, the subject just gets changed) when I talk about our asterisk.
If the rolls were reversed, I would literally be saying "At least we won nationals". It was be salve, but not a cure.

Of course, both ways. Remember, before this streak of 4*, OSU had won the previous 8, and around 16 of 20 or so.
And I'm quite certain that winning the national title eases that pain considerably. This year's team didn't beat TTUN, but instead went on an unprecedented run. They beat more top 5 teams than anyone ever, and won the right to be called "the best team in college football".
So, enjoy your win, but nobody will remember it. None of the sports almanacs will say OSU - National Champions (but they lost to TTUN).
And know that I've very aware OSU (or anyone else) would try to cope by doing the same thing.
Don't take my word for it. Here's an Alabama fan breaking things down for you:

Specifically, a Michigan or OSU team that won the title, but never beat the other team. I know there are plenty of times where players never beat the other side. But again, never beat the other side, but won the title.

Like I said, I'm in a pretty small bubble. The stat that matters most to "ME" is our record against OSU. I have googled a handful of times over the years "Record between OSU and Michigan". Rarely have I googled "Who won the most championships". I would burn the entire season to the ground, if it lead to a victory over OSU.
You can post all the memes and stats you want! I can only say again, I sleep better at night knowing we beat you even though we had a shitty season. In fact, the fact that we had such a shitty season just makes it feel a little bit better.
Back to the question, I didn't mean for this to be an "At least we beat you" thing. I honestly just wanted to know which mattered more to you. Beating OSU matters more to me. I'm ok being alone in that.
Side note: If you search the NCAA thread for "Burn" posted by "Cakedaddy", most of them are in reference to OSU having a bad day.

In our rivalry? I don't know. Maybe?
In other rivalries, yes. Nick Saban shut down Desmond Howard's stupid ass by pointing out that they lost to Auburn one year and still won the title. Nobody gave shit because the title is what matters.
But if that's what warms you at night, great. I wouldn't take that away from you. However, you're not the same as a lot of TTUN fans, like the ones still in denial about the cheating.
