Amen.
It's not OSU. It's one politician trying to get his name out there.

A lot like how many Michigan politicians were threatening the NCAA trying to get them to back down from investigating TTUN's latest cheating scandal.

I will never understand Belichick to UNC.

This makes sense. Seemed very out of character for OSU to do it. I normally respect the way the respond to things. As much as I might hate them. :-)

Well, we'll find out this week how he operates in the transfer portal, I guess? He must have been desperate to get back in the game, and someone (I dont think our AG) wanted a Big Name.

UNC is reportedly upping its NIL fund from $4 million to $20 million.
If that's true, that would move them to the top 5 with OSU, Texas, etc.

UNC is going all in on football?

What reality is this?

UNC seems to be making a little noise in the transfer portal, no big names, but some solid mid-level interest.

Maybe we only needed 8 teams in the playoffs?

Nobody believed in Indiana/SMU, but you cannot leave out a 1 loss team for a 3 loss team, particularly one that lost to Vanderbilt.

Still, two shitty games so far. Texas-Clemson appears better.

Also, let me pre-emptively say that I have never been less excited for an OSU game. Nobody I know is having any get togethers, nobody has talked about it, etc. I just expect they'll lose. Kind of says all you need to know about the Ryan Day era. There was far more excitement when we entered the playoffs with a 3rd string QB.

I am fully expecting to end my night having watched the Steelers and Buckeyes lose back to back.

During the Indiana-ND game, particularly towards the end, the announcers were going off on Indiana even making it into the playoffs and how the committee just seemed to assume B1G and SEC teams were just better than the rest.

Clemson and SMU decided to destroy their argument within 24 hours.

At the end of 1Q I'm left asking, "Who the fuck is this team?"

OSU having a monster day against the SEC.

Football team is up 42-10 in the 4th against #9 Tennessee.

Men's bball team beat #4 Kentucky 85-65.

The most famous TTUN fan has been on X all night tearing Tennessee up. I think B1G hatred for the SEC might be the only thing that unifies OSU and TTUN.

By the way, this is in reference to Tenn fans claiming they have taken over Columbus for the past 48 hours...where school is out for the holidays...

42-17 and it wasn't that close. 3rd place B1G team absolutely annihilates 3rd place SEC team.

IU fans taking shots now. Feels justified. BTW, the narratives are there for an OSU run:
-Lost by 1 to Oregon in Eugene on a bad OPI call and exploiting a rule by Oregon that has since been changed.
-Facing Texas and Quinn Ewers, former OSU QB.
-Rematch against Georgia from a classic 2 years ago, which everyone called "the real national championship".

Having zero confidence versus seeing them dominate helps.

This year, you're right. Future years, we'll see.

Steelers were the first wild card in the NFL to win the Super Bowl. Buckeyes were the first 4 seed to win the playoffs. Both happened in the first year of those new things. That's not happening this year... Who was the lowest seed? SMU?

I can say the best thing about OSU's dominating win was it quickly shut the mouths of all the people saying, "Just put in 6 SEC teams."

Seriously, tell me you're a shill without telling me you're a shill: "A 1 loss P5 team should have been left out in favor of a 3 loss P5 team."

How about we examine SOS getting artificially inflated by bogus rankings? FSU was a top 10 team...
