I don't get it either.

In related news, the Big 12 doesn't have to worry about getting into the CFP this year, neither does Notre Dame or the insanely overrated FSU.

FSU did better against Ole Miss than Alabama did.

Louisville has been amazing. They have 2 hard games left (Clemson, who finally looked like a football team yesterday), and Houston, then the ACC championship. Clemson + Houston games are away.

Glad to see the Spartans take down UND. I really thought Kelly would do a little better at UND than he has.

They played an FCS school, so...

Notre Dame's entrance requirements are too tough for a lot of players. He's doing a good job, just not an amazing job.

What the hell is that official doing?

The SEC explains.

I actually think the spot was bad, but whatever that official was doing was not only wrong, it clearly looks like cheating. Not saying it IS cheating, but it looks exactly like cheating.

Tennessee player is a huge soccer fan.

He should be suspended for the next game.

Les Miles fired.

I don't understand this move at all. They've debated firing him the last two off seasons, so do it. Don't pull the trigger four games into the season throwing your team into chaos.

Meanwhile, I ran into a friend this week that's a season ticket holder for Michigan. He was at the Penn State game and was chatting with some of their alumi and according to them James Franklin is going to be fired and Penn State is going to target Les Miles. They claim this isn't reactionary, but has been talked about for some time.

Here's where it gets weird... Apparently, it's not just about Franklin's terrible record on the field. He's also something of a pervert. I guess if you look at all of his assistants' wives, they're all hot. That's not a coincidence. Also, he's very into attractive coeds and uses all the hot women he can get in every aspect of recruiting. (That's probably smart.)

I think they did it to let Ed Orgeron have a 3rd HC title, and then dump him rather than let him be more than an interim, again.

As for Franklin, back when he was at Vandy 4 years ago...
Franklin unabashedly said so during a radio interview Wednesday where he claimed that one of the first things he does when looking at perspective hires is size up their wives.

Yeah, creepy.

"I've been saying it for a long time, I will not hire an assistant coach until I've seen his wife. If she looks the part, and she's a D-I recruit (one of the nation's best-of-the-best), then you got a chance to get hired. That's part of the deal."

So where did Franklin acquire all the Manswers? Well, from the movie "Moneyball" in which a scout quips: "Ugly girlfriend means no confidence."

The thing about Baylor is that they don't seem to be taking things seriously.

I mean how hard is it to simply pretend you respect women when the entire country is watching your every step?

BTW he just switched schools because of some issue he was having in our local public school.... I heard it had something to do with him being the only black kid in the entire school, but I don't know for sure.

Anyway, at his new high school, he is making at least 2 TDs per game and so far they are undefeated. They usually crush the other teams by embarrassing margins.

I am teaching him that all the famous players always snarl and look pissed in front of the cameras... he should be the guy who always smiles and still kicks your ass on the field. Makes you seem crazier.

He is still well on track to play college ball somewhere.

UGA-UT and UNC-FSU with the exciting finishes today.

ESPN has a in-game % chance of winning metric.

UT went from 98% chance of winning to 99.9% chance of losing to winning

UNC went from 97.9% chance of winning to 99.9% chance of losing to #WINNING

Why Louisville lost...

Very suspect, and that official going nuts celebrating is bad form. I don't care where they were or whose crew it was, that's bullshit.

I feel bad for that receiver. He clearly believed he had the first down easily.

No. No. No. Defensive players might look that way from time to time, but it's rare. Offensive players NEVER look pissed...unless they're Jay Cutler.

Really? Did you ever see Randy Moss's official picture?

Talked to the neighbor again. He sits near some big shot booster for the Wolverines.

Here's the latest rumor...
Les Miles name is being rumored around the program as he's a Michigan guy. But they have Jim Harbaugh, right? Well, what he heard at the game Saturday is that the Lions are making a big move on Harbaugh. We always knew he'd go back to the NFL, but after 2 years? I find it hard to believe, but it does kind of make sense. He could leave now without a lot of hatred since Les would be replacing him.

Another thing my neighbor has heard is John Harbaugh would like the job as well.

Harbaugh needs a title. I don't know why anyone would be interested in the Lions job, but whatever. Miles is a downgrade, but good news for OSU and MSU.

A few things stand out to me that make this seem legit:
1. John Harbaugh has his title and Baltimore is on a downward trend. Now would be a good time to leave.
2. Les is a Michigan guy and almost took the Michigan job before Hoke.
3. Detroit is awful, but it's almost all coaching. They have a ton of talent, but Jim Caldwell is a terrible coach. The only time he had success was when some guy named Peyton Manning was his QB.
4. Jim has made no secret about wanting to coach in the NFL, not college.

The reasons I think it isn't legit:
1. Jim's wife wants to live out west.
2. Detroit?
3. Can Jim leave after two years? Michigan did fuck him over previously, but 2 years?

If you didn't hear, Rutgers was beat at home by 78 points. They lost to "That Team Up North" (as we call them around here).

On the bright side, it doesn't get worse than that, right? I mean imagine inviting hundreds of prospects you're recruiting to come watch that game.

Ooooohhhh shit. That hurts.
