OSU @ NW today, but not at the cool temp stadium right on Lake Michigan. No, they're at Wrigley Field.
This is the strangest setup I've ever seen. There's a huge part of the field unused. Meanwhile, parts of the sideline are right against the wall. It's almost like arena football.
I feel like they did this before, and there were issues?
*googles*
The Northwestern Wildcats and the Illinois Fighting Illini played a college football game at Wrigley Field on November 20, 2010. It was the first football game at Wrigley Field since 1970, and the first collegiate football game there since 1938, when the DePaul Blue Demons played its regular games at Wrigley.[93] The field used an east–west field configuration (third base to right field). In order to keep the playing field at regulation size, the safety clearances for each end zone to the walls in the field were considerably less than normal. In particular, the east (right field) end zone came under scrutiny as its end zone was wedged extremely close to the right field wall (as close as one foot in some areas), forcing the goal posts to be hung from the right field wall in order to fit. Despite extra padding provided in these locations, it was decided that all offensive plays for both teams play to the west end zone, where there was more safety clearance.
Apparently they re-engineered part of it, and the field fits better now.

One of the end zones and part of the sideline were 5' from the wall..."better". The field didn't look sloppy though.

College football has way too many games. Like trim it down to 48 teams and call it a league. All these games are worthless today except like 1.
I agree, but I think for most people, that's the charm. Everyone loves seeing Armpit U knock off a big name program. Plus, everyone wants to root for their alma matter. Go Human Beings!

$5 says he leaves!! But on the other hand, he's guaranteed play time. . . but it's Michigan, and I have no idea if we even have a good coaching staff that can teach him. Plus there's the lingering NCAA hammer. Why am I spending this much time thinking about it. . .. $5 says he leaves. Way too much time between now and next fall.
If they gave him enough money, maybe he stays no matter what. However, that doesn't mean he'll have much of a team around him.

I wonder if Indiana will be out of the playoffs now?
They have a bottom 10 SOS, got hammered by the only ranked team they've faced, and are Indiana...

They really should be out. They're just not a top 12 team, and if you take into account that some 1/2/3 teams get in anyway automatically, Indiana's not a top 10 team.

Also, another weekend of garbage games.
OSU-Indiana was the marquee game, right? Terrible week.
Army-ND could be good?
Also, go Kansas.

I think, if Arizona State + BYU both win next week, then they are in the B12 championship based on tie-breakers, CU would be 3rd (or maybe Iowa State), but either way, CU would be left out, which is the important part. Iowa State has more of a chance, if they win out.
(googles, internet agrees):
CU either needs to be one of two 7-2 teams or be in a three-way tie with the Sun Devils and Iowa State.
Honestly, no offense to the players, but the MSM turned that into a sideshow.
