Two rumors I've heard recently:
1. Nick Saban has a plan to leave and people who know him say his behavior has changed. He doesn't want to be Bobby Bowden or Jo Pa. He will move to TV. Folks "in the know" claim 1-3 years. Some say if he wins it all this year he's done.
2. The Big 12 is expanding, but folks think it'll be gone in 4 years. Texas and Kansas to the Big 10. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State to the SEC.

I could believe it... but I could also see him regretting it once he did it. One shy of Bryant. Would he want to get two, or be "satisfied" with one? Two and he has the same # at Bama that Bryant did.

Yeah, but hanging on for those two could be the end of him. Again, look at what the quest for wins did to Bowden.

Harbaugh and Rome get into Twitter war.
Rome's comeback is pretty good (Hint: That's the score of their game against the Buckeyes last season.).
Nick Wright, filling in for Cowherd, had a similar take. Nobody thinks Harbaugh will be there in 5 years.

Ole Miss is in trouble.
My favorite part:
investigators have interviewed players at two or more rival Southeastern Conference schools about their recruitment by the Rebels, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.
So what you're saying is despite Ole Miss breaking the rules and offering these players things illegally, they still signed with other SEC schools? I wonder why...?

To be fair, you'd have to give me more $ to live in Mississippi than Alabama or Georgia.

Tennessee will end up winning this game against Appalachian State, but AppSt had to miss two short field goals in regulation just for Tennessee to have a shot at winning in OT.
All hail the mighty SEC!

Someone placed a bet of $40,000 on the Tennessee money line to win $3,076.90.
What an idiot.

LSU suspends dirty player for a single game.
Why isn't that assault? That wasn't a lightning quick judgment after a play. That was pre-meditated and intentional.

Hard to tell if he didnt realize the play was over or not from that view.

I played football.
You know what never happened to me? Hearing whistles, not being blocked, opposing players almost skipping and celebrating, my own teammates standing or walking off the field, etc. and me still thinking the play is live.
Oh, and btw, watch his hit. Does he wrap his legs? Nope. Does he text book tackle the guy? Nope. He goes after the guy's head. Nobody blocks him, the guy isn't running full speed, he gets a completely open shot at him, and he goes to the kid's head.
That shit was as dirty as it gets.

Bet really big against Charleston Southern this weekend.
Already down a starting QB, and possibly 30 other players suspended for some stupid rule. Ouch.

The amazing finish
The setup:
Oklahoma State was expected to get a test from Central Michigan.
Instead, the Chippewas got a miracle.
Central Michigan scored on a Hail Mary pass on an un-timed down, upsetting the Cowboys 30-27 on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.
CMU's Cooper Rush hit Jesse Kroll deep down the field and he pitched it to Malik Fountain, who raced the final 9 yards to the left corner of the end zone for the game winning touchdown.
The score came on an un-timed down after OSU was penalized for intentional grounding on a fourth-down play when Cowboys quarterback Mason Rudolph threw the ball down the field hoping to run the final seconds of the game off the clock.

I went to Ohio State/Tulsa this weekend. We got soaked when the torrential rains came through in the 2nd quarter. Tulsa played good in the first quarter, and the Bucks were in classic trap game mode. However, two pick 6s later and it was all OSU from that point on.
