The answer is that a cap is a stupid idea.

Perhaps, but I was discussing how it could be done to make things "fair".

I just wanted to say that OSU has to buy their championships.

OSU has a single cycle where they finally flex their NIL power and your fanbase goes nuts about it. Meanwhile, we're awaiting punishment for one of the largest cheating scandals in sports history that resulted in your team "winning" a title.
I'll take using financial power to recruit good players over cheating every day.

But cheating is so much easier. . .
I actually know nothing about that fan base reaction. I would assume we spend about the same. Michigan has some bank as well.

Which one do you think cheated their way to victory?

Maybe they just had the best coach and most heart?

Who couldn't win shit until Connor Stalions started doing something "that nobody knew he was doing and didn't benefit the team at all".
I can't wait to see the Disney movie about these scrappy
cheaters kids.
(I almost said, "No, Tomlin is in the NFL", but fuck him.)

Odd timing, but feels like a win for OSU?

I don't know why the BC job opened so late, but I'm happy O'Brien got the job so he can be close to that doctor for his kid.
The Chip hire is a big win for OSU and Chip. The word is Chip rediscovered his love for the game working with the QBs before last year's bowl games. He had been burnt out and wasn't putting in the effort anymore. Stepping down from being a HC to work directly with the kids is what he wants to do, and more power to him. Not everyone is built to be at the top. He and Day go way back so I think it made for a perfect fit.
It's going to be an interesting season. That @Oregon game will be the biggest test. They should cruise through the rest of the year.

Google confirms. . . That makes way more sense. I only read one article, and they never used his real name.

I was thinking last night (sorry Catt) that if genders don't matter, then OSU is #2 and UNC #7.

I was thinking last night that we need a new coach. Which is the same thing I thought last year. And for most of the year before that, too.

Chris Holtman should be available after this season.

CFPB to vote on 5+7 model soon.
TLDR: The new 12 team format should become official. And if I read it right, it would remove the committee. The teams that get in would be the top 5 ranked conference champions and the other top 7 teams.
