In all seriousness, I think they were closed due to abuses going on within them (sexual, etc.). However, that just shows the stupidity of overcorrecting an issue. (In other words, why cancel culture is fucking ignorant.) Now we're left with a society where mental health issues are skyrocketing and we really don't have the infrastructure to deal with it all.

Yes, my understanding was that the hospitals were horror shows. That Reagan closed them was, at the time, considered a kindness......... but no one else came up with a new, better system.

Now is the perfect time to come up with a new, better system.

It's very, very important to note that the trans activists swear this is not happening anywhere in this country. That nobody gets anything done without years of therapy first.

I have to agree with male puberty = male racing. And the doctor saying that she’s basically biologically a female based only on testosterone is absurd.

If testosterone was the only factor, "men's" sports would be full of f --> m transsexuals, by now.
