Exactly.
I really hate the NCAA's tone on this entire thing. They fucked up, repeatedly. Yet still acting like UNC is the bad person here. Can't wait for them to die.

Live on national TV just now:

Gus Johnson: "There are a lot of people who say this 5-0 Maryland team would be ranked if they were in the SEC."

Joel Klatt: "Because it's true. How they are unranked, and a 2 loss LSU team is, I don't know."

They're literally ranked 26th. JFc.

Show me in all the debates every year where someone says, "We beat X when they were ranked" and it applied to a team ranked 26th.

That's the point.

BTW, I think OSU is going to lose today. I also think Ryan Day might be in serious jeopardy of losing his job.

Well, LSU isn't going to be ranked after today at this rate.

Maryland beat shitty teams. We've had way too many teams get ranked that were 5-0 or 6-0 against crap. Maryland has 3 good games to see if they deserve it.

And as it has been pointed out MANY times, that doesn't matter if you're in the SEC.

Cuz SEC is better than the B10.

I think there's a greater than zero chance that Meyer replaces Day as OSU HC. The B1G is about to be too big for this mediocre bullshit.

Impossible to determine.

Too much bias thanks to ESPN owning one of the polls, the SEC media rights, and being the primary sports news source. The thing that never gets discussed is how much of a recruiting tool this is, and obviously benefitted the SEC.

Not to mention that every program that was a threat to the SEC somehow faced NCAA investigations and sanctions, yet SEC teams would have evidence of their cheating publicly posted and it'd be silence from the NCAA. (Bama's own tattoo scandal, LSU paying for Cam, former LSU and Bama players admitting to getting paid and coaches being involved, and so on.) Throw in oversignings (banned by other conferences), playing of DII teams and sometimes in the middle of their schedule (again, banned by other conferences), Bama never playing road games, trying to prevent other conferences from holding camps down south, and basically every other possible advantage they could get or be given.

Meanwhile, they weren't doing great in bowl games.

People can point to titles, but honestly, when the sport is slanted so much in your favor it's really not hard to win 1 or 2 games while other people had to fight tooth and nail for the chance. I equate it to the Montreal Canadians claiming a whole shitton of titles before the rules were changed to stop benefitting only them.

LSU is beating an undefeated SEC Team.

Md is down to to an undefeated B10 team. Guess the rankings are correct.

Weell that was UNCs best game of the year against a not terrible Syracuse team. Miami up next in the Find Out Who's Real Bowl. Should move UNC to #13 at least.

Miami did their part to prove they are not real.

Holy shit. You would be hard, HARD pressed to convince me that one call should ever get a coach fired. Running the ball when you should be in victory formation and then losing because of it might be the one call that should get a coach fired.

This year is nuts. There is no "great" team, and I think everyone is in the hunt. 3 losses is probably the cut off and 2 could get a big name school in still with great wins and good losses.

I'm speechless. The lack of kneel down. The letting the WR get behind ALL of your players on the GT TD. Just, wtf? Well, now UNC REAALLY has to win against Miami next week.

Also, those miami uniforms look dumb.

Also, if you missed this play of the day...

Louisville jumped to #15 (from 25); UNC to 12 (from 14). FSU #4. Miami #26. Duke #18

UNC plays Miami and Duke, but not Louisville or FSU.

Duke plays FSU, UNC, and Louisville. But not Miami
Miami plays FSU, UNC, and Louisville. But not Duke
FSU plays Duke + Miami, but not UNC or Louisville.

So we could end up with 3 undefeated ACC teams, at most, I think. Louisville, FSU, and UNC. I know it's super unlikely, but what if? No more divisions, 3 co-champs, go makes it to the Championship game?

So much lamer than each team choosing 1 representative for a cage match to the death.
