Because I was cheering Miami from the Kent seats, I managed to rattle them and Miami won 23-3.

Gfs daughter goes to Kent. Is family weekend. My kid's school was there playing them. Puh-hunished them.

Ironically, they had a color guard WITH RIFLES ON THE FIELD AT KENT for the playing of the national anthem. I was looking for triggered peeps but I guess they're over it. Which kind of makes sense because at the moment the hippies love the government.

Was the game even on TV? :) Like... not UHF?

To be fair, I think every game is televised at this point and according to the web it was covered by ESPN+. So if you have ESPN+, you could watch it.

Also, that loss moved Kent State to 1-4.

They had commercial breaks with a timer on the field. Someone told me ESPN.

I've seen some talk about 5-0 Maryland not being ranked after beating five P5 schools, but LSU being ranked despite having two losses.

While I would bet LSU to win if they played, I wouldn't be stunned if Maryland won.

Is Maryland unranked because they play OSU this week? Probably not.

Is LSU ranked simply because they're SEC? Highly likely.

Maryland has played shit schools. Barley P5, and for the record, Towson + Charlotte are not P5. Uva? Msu (after coach fired)? Indiana? Puhleeeez. UNC could win those 5 games :)

Rankings this early don't mean a ton, but they do anchor ("We beat a #5 team week 3!" Ok, but that team finished 6-6)

Head-to-head, I'd bet on LSU.

This is exactly where the criticism comes from. Every year the SEC teams have the argument that they beat X when they were ranked due to obviously overinflated rankings.

Like I said, I would too. But are we underestimating how bad a job Brian Kelly is doing?

Portal window is shrinking.

This needed to happen badly. I know some B1G school just had the starting CB enter the portal following a game. I'm sure it's happening all over.

Tucker sends letter to MSU citing new evidence.

He's basically saying this isn't the first time this woman has done this. Honestly, if you're a woman, why not go around accusing men trying to get a payday? So what if it ruins their lives and careers? There are NO CONSEQUENCES for you!

BTW, MSU is absolutely using the excuse I said, "It doesn't matter if it was consensual or not. You admitted to doing this and it embarrassed the school. Fuck off."

Woooooooooooooo! A month later (or more) than it should have been.
North Carolina wide receiver Tez Walker will be eligible to play in 2023 after new information emerged that the NCAA said school officials "failed to provide" previously.
