At what point do conferences just not make sense any more if they are that big?

I find that rumour hard to believe, but who knows

I found it hard to believe the B1G would add USC and UCLA due to logistics, but here we are.

I'm wondering if Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Rutgers, Missouri, and so on are in danger of being booted from their conference in favor of a better sports program.

Would you rather have Northwestern or Oklahoma State?

Although, there are probably conference bylaws preventing such a thing.

However, if Northwestern removes sports themselves, does that clear a spot for Notre Dame?

A look ahead to college football.

Hey, TTUN gets mentioned for having the most embarrassingly easy OOC schedule. Congrats Cake!

B1G expansion has hit ESPN.

Enough smoke to see fire?

Washington and Oregon seem like probable locks. Clemson and FSU were not mentioned, but Virginia and UNC are...

Meanwhile, FSU is hiking up its skirt.

Gambling sting hits Iowa and Iowa State.

UVA + UNC would make more sense than Clemson + FSU, who should go to the SEC if the ACC dies.

But I cannot see UVA or UNC moving without their partner public schools (Va Tech + NCSU). And breaking up UNC + Duke would be sad.

Washington + Oregon are in, per this article. But not getting full revenue share.

PAC12 is basically dead. B10 can't count.

That's temporary.

Not quite dead, but when Arizona and Arizona State join the Big-12 in the next few days, they will be.

I wonder where Utah will go?

Stanford regents are probably on the phone right now to Notre Dame. "Listen, the B1G will take us, but only if you jump too." (That has long been the rumor.)

2+2=Show me the money.

The interesting part is still coming. I wonder if the B1G will make cuts to fit other schools or grow past 20? Do they add Stanford, ND, UNC, UVa and stop there or keep expanding? You have to think that schools are genuinely scrambling now to figure out where they can jump before they get left behind.

Zona, ASU, and Utah all move to Big-12.

Ok, now the Pac-12 is dead.

ACC hates FSU.

Based on this, why would any other conference even want FSU?
Another questioned whether trustee members even realized Florida State willingly signed the grant of rights in 2016, giving the ACC control over its media rights through the end of its television contract in 2036.

If the Big Ten decided to expand to 20 schools after adding Oregon and Washington on Friday, would it come looking at the ACC and Florida State?
Tell you what, B10, you can have Syracuse + BC.

ACC looks like they might add Stanford and Cal.

Meanwhile, FSU and Clemson are making a huge stink about it.

So, what are the odds FSU and Clemson are still in the ACC by 2030? I'd say less than 25%. The real question is are they moving to the B1G or the SEC?
