I've been in Ireland all week and heard just about nothing about US elections, and maybe I should just stay here.

Suddenly my FB feed is FULL of all these posts about what a piece of shit JD Vance is, and last week I'd never even heard of him.

How did so many people become experts on this guy, so fast?

Just like the virus, international shipping, space, the Olympics, and any other topic.

I hate that all no cool non-political FB groups are now just nonstop "LOL Vance fucked a couch" posts.

Isn't it already historic? Not shitting on her, but how many presidential candidates for one of the two parties was not even a candidate in the primaries? Has that ever happened before? Ford doesn't count because he was never a candidate.

I'd vote for a dead squirrel over Trump. But I'd say I'm voting "for" party. Republicans are dead to me atm. I've voted straight D since 2016, +/-.
