Yeah, I realize we don't quite need that much to help just to get in... but I'll take all the help we can get
I mean, OSU winning out eliminates MSU and Iowa. Bama winning out gets rid of Florida. We have the opportunity to eliminate Clemson ourselves by winning out, especially if we can be convincing against NCSU and VaTech.
Notre Dame needs to lose to Stanford. Stanford needs to lose the PAC to make me feel better.
Then all that's left is the Big 12. If either 1) they all have 2 losses, or 2) One wins out, everyone else has 2 losses, we're good.
I don't really think we're a top 10 (much less CFP) team... but hey, why not. I definitely could see some coach of the year votes/awards going our way.

.html]UNC (and some other teams) can't fill their stadiums.[/url]
I took my family to the UNC - Duke game. We had to take a park and ride to get to the stadium, as it's in the middle of the school campus, and there's no parking anywhere. (Tickets for the game: $30 each; Parking on campus: $60+)
We parked, walked a long walk to the buses, stood in a long line, got on the bus... and waited 30 minutes to drive 2 miles (since bus traffic is not separated from road traffic). Then had to walk another 1/3rd of a mile to the stadium.
It's just not easy to get to the damned stadium.
Contrast that with FedEx field. More people, but tons of on site parking, and pretty easy access to the Interstate. Typically about 45 minutes each way from Alexandria, Va, versus 1 hour 45 minutes for us from Cary -> Chapel HIll (about the same distance)

$30? That's amazing.
OSU tickets have a much higher face value and are typically a couple hundred each from scalpers.

$30 = 20 yard line, 8 rows up from the sideline.
Yeah, football doesn't have the same level of love down here.

I'll bet NASCAR tickets are hard to come by down there...
I was recently in town after a NASCAR race and a guy at the airport where all the rental cars are was telling me I'm lucky I reserved one a month ahead of time because every car rental place was sold out.

Rumors have Les Miles out at LSU and Jimbo Fisher replacing him.

That just doesn't make sense, seems like a weak rumour to me.
Fisher's at a great football school in an EASY football conference. He's got a road to the CFP every year, and he already makes $5mil a year.
I'd see the guy from Houston being more probable. Everyone's going to want Herman after what he did for OSU's offense + Houston this year.

Hey man, basketball season doesn't count until football's over
But pretty stunning result in the Big Ten. MSU wins the division with a win now? That game was fugly. I watched the 2nd TD by each team, and am watching the last 6 minutes now.
Guess Notre Dame and Big 12 show up in the CFP now.
UNC should move ahead of Utah and LSU next week.

Ezekiel Elliot not pleased.
Elliott was also highly critical of Ohio State's offensive playcalling against Michigan State. He said he lobbied Ohio State coach Urban Meyer for more carries on the sideline and did not get them.
“What happened today was like a bad, bad dream,” Elliott said, after a 12-carry, 33-yard performance that snapped a run of 16 straight 100-yard rushing games. “I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed in the play-calling. I’m disappointed in the situation we were put in.
“We weren’t put in the right position to win this game.”

BTW, the announcers yesterday couldn't stop talking about the genius of Jim Harbaugh. Mr. Genius got his ass kicked.
Fuck Michigan.
