I know this isn't the narrative, but nobody gave two shits about drag queens or trans people until they started forcing it upon everyone with "family friendly" drag shows and drag queen story time at public libraries. Please explain why we needed to get men pretending to be women (some very close to naked) in close proximity to children. I have honestly tried my best to figure out why this needs to be a thing, but I cannot come up with a single reason. Perhaps you can Mr. Epstein?

Our school had some kind of day of quiet/silence for lgbtq+ people on the 11th. I have no idea if my kid participated. Being quiet is not a #1 skill of hers.

They're pretty progressive. And we're supportive. But he literally wants to skip school because they're doing student presentations, one if which is "History of Gay Bars ". I'm inclined to let him skip, because what a fucking waste of time, but am worried that's a bad optic these days. I dunno.

I didn't hear of the Stonewall Inn until.like five years ago. And I didn't raise my kid to be homophobic. We're all good, here. How about some college prep calculus instead? My kid's going into a microbiology program.
