Point being if it doesn't get disclosed, they're not getting paper.
TheCatt wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 7:57 pm Generally, paying people is legal.
Yeah, as long as it's not for illegal things and getting reported. That's why people are questioning Texas A&M's number one recruiting class.

Well, if it's under the table like it's been for the past man years...

But NIL should allow it all to be public, and any payment a company sends above $600 has to be reported, so it will actually be taxed now.

This is one of the dirtiest plays I've ever seen in college hoops. The other kid is lucky he didn't land on his head or neck. The NCAA and/or the ACC needs to come down hard on this idiot and send a message. I'm genuinely not sure how I feel about criminal charges. He, more than likely, would have faced them if the other kid had been seriously hurt.

Howard would have been fired already if he were white.

Suspended for the rest of the season, weak.

Didn't he get ejected from the B10 tourney last year? Why wasn't he fired?

He's had multiple incidents including threatening to kill someone and now throwing a punch. I have no idea why he hasn't been fired. It's absolute bullshit.

LA Times article on how "the Alliance" (B1G, ACC, and Pac-12) skull fucked the SEC, particularly Oklahoma and Texas, by voting no on CFP expansion.

Reminder, they also fucked over ESPN, particularly their money, thanks to how the TV rights will work out now.

Hue Jackson is in trouble for hiring Art Briles and apparently admitting to fraud via his charity.

This guy has all the details.

Update: Art Briles removes himself from the job.

UNC is 22-8, 14-5 in the ACC (3rd place, 1.5 games behind 1st place Duke). But is a projected 10th seed/bubble team. What a down year for the ACC.

Yeah, hammered Coach K on his way out. I'm sure that felt great.
