Fair, but it wasn't the official story:
Last year, ESPN pulled the veteran college football reporter from a Wisconsin vs. Northwestern game due to an illness.
Get the dude some rehab that lasts more than a week ESPN. You cheap dicks.

OU - Texas: A tense, defensive stand-off as expected. The O/U is 66, and they're 11 pts away with 3 minutes left in the 1H

They should have called the Ole Miss-Ark game the "We were overrated last week so our opponent's resumes would look better" bowl.

Texas and Oklahoma are perfect fits for the SEC. They already don't play defense.

Oof...sorry.

Iowa only beat PSU because Clifford went out hurt. Iowa is not a contender.

Bama goes down.

If they lose to Georgia, they'll be out of the CFP.

I expect them to still be a #4 if they lose to UGA.

Anyone outside of the SEC loses to a top ten ranked team: ESPN - "That's a bad loss. They're in trouble for the CFP."

Bama losing to an unranked team: ESPN - "That's a great loss and shouldn't affect their ranking."

There's no shame in losing to the (once-ranked) #7 team in the nation.

NCAA Football right now:

- Best team in South Carolina? Coastal Carolina of course.

- Best team in North Carolina? Wake Forest of course.

- Only undefeated team in Texas? SMU of course. Only 2 spots behind A&M.

Ha! And that's the sad part of this double standard for the conferences in bed with ESPN.

If OSU beats PSU and Iowa, ranked #4 and #3 respectively this week, they will only be given credit for whatever they are at the time.

You have to remember, those teams were only #18 and #19 to start the season, their rankings last week were simply inflated.

It's honestly frightening that this is the sort of stupidity that goes into the rankings and CFP discussions. It's also how most political discussions go.

New rankings are out.

Current final four projection: GA or Bama, Iowa or OSU/PSU, Cincy, Ok

Gets interesting if Bama and/or OSU/PSU knock off GA/Iowa. Who does the committee screw over at that point, Cincy or Ok?

Bama knocking off GA is a nightmare scenario if Cincy, Iowa, and Ok stay undefeated.
PSU going to the B1G championship game and beating Iowa becomes a problem too.

FYI, if OSU wins out they'll be beating 4 top ten teams to do so. (MSU, Iowa, PSU, and TTUN)

I wouldn't say GA or Bama. Bama wins out, they are in. GA wins out except SEC championship, they are still in. That leaves a 1 loss or undefeated B10 team, undefeated Cincy, and undefeated OK as the other competitors.

I have no problem leaving out OU or Cincy due to their 1) lackluster wins and 2) poor schedule, respectively.

This could happen. Cases could be made for all to be excluded or included. We need a legit playoff. Win your conference and you're in. Tough shit if you don't.

Georgia 12-1 (L to Bama)
Alabama 12-1 (SEC Champ)
Ohio State 12-1 (B1G Champ)
Oregon 12-1 (Pac 12 Champ)
Oklahoma 12-1 (B12 Champ)
Cincinnati 13-0 (AAC Champ)
Iowa 12-1 (L to Ohio State)

PSU upset Iowa fans booed hurt players.

Fuck James Franklin. He's a less talented Dabo.

When even the announcers pick up on the odd pattern of your guys "getting hurt" every time Iowa has a big play or a swing in momentum and then going right back in the next play, you're probably cheating.

BTW, yeah it was, but there was legit criticism along with that post of people thinking maybe Saban has lost touch with players. It is, literally, impossible to please everyone.
