The question is, will the IOC move to clarify this stuff before the next cycle? Or do XX women need to... I don't know.... maybe split off and have their own sports leagues where they can compete on a level playing field?

The IOC does not take a position, in general, they leave it up to the world governing body. But they suspended the world governing body, so they are the temporary authority, and just use the "has this person identified as female for their whole life test" is my understanding. Boxing should have a new governing body before 2028, and they will decide future eligibility terms.

A cynical part of me was thinking, "We already have an Olympics where peeps with genetic abnormalities can compete. They take place right after the regular Olympics."

I'm not a tits man, and more of an overall package person, so I was pleased.
