You knew the clan weapon tuning had to happen.

Who uses a targeting computer? If Luke Skywalker doesn't need one, neither do I!

Piranha Games aquires full control of MW:O.

I had no idea that there were two separate companies involved and that there were internal struggles. That explains a lot.

Let's see what Piranha can get done without a second company being involved.

Oh yeah, i forgot. I made the Knights of Vindication clan about a week ago, So if you guys ever log in there should be an invite waiting for you. As of now you can't do much more than just assign titles, add c-bills to the coffers and look at the star map.

Also, just yesterday the devs posted the details of phase 2 of community warefare. I haven't read this yet but here is what was said.

1 Year Customer Appreciation Celebration

Holy shit they're giving away a lot of stuff.

Stranger, I'm pretty sure you and I qualify for most of the stuff they're giving away. You'll have to take a break from ArcheAge to log in and collect.

Logged into this game over the weekend just to check in with it. I've been following the updates so I wanted to see what its all about.

First there are two new maps, a jungle map and an urban city map. I only got to play each one once so I don't know much about them, but they both seemed fun and brought some variety, much needed.

Tons of new mechs! I believe all the Clan mechs can be bought with c-bills now so you don't have to spend real money to play them. Also there are more on the way, should be in game shortly.

All Innershpere mechs now have quirks associated with them. This was to bring them closer in power to the OP Clan mechs when they were released. What this means is that for a particular mech it may have +20% range on AC5 ballistics, -15% laser heat generation or +20% SRM cooldown reduction. This is really cool because each mech has different quirks, even the different varients within each class. This makes each one specialized a little more and you don't just see a bunch of Victor Dragon Slayers because they are the best and that's it. great addition!

Community Warfare is supposedly gonna be ready by December 16! everyone is saying the split from PGI has been a great move and they are hitting deadlines just about exactly when they say so. They have already done a lot with making your units more manageable and even the star map is there but not sure exactly all the details on this much anticipated event.

So I suggest that you guys check it out again if you were ever interested in the first place. Looks like what we've wanted out of this game is developing nicely.

Also, the reward system has been tweaked for the better. Different things like flanking, solo kill, most dmg done on kill, lance bonus, ect. will show up on the screen when you get them. There are many more that I can't think of right now, but just going for an assist and moving on isn't the most profitable way to play anymore. Overall you get more c-bills on average.

Very nice. I played two or three weekends ago, but didn't notice all the new stuff. Looks like I'll have to start getting familiar with it all.

If AA dies for me or just dies in general, this will be my MMO of choice going forward IF they get Community Warfare running the way we want.

Sweet!!
We are only a few weeks away from Community Warfare being in your hands and playable. That being said, not a lot is going to change between now and December 16th. We need to stabilize the build and continue testing as much as we can to make sure the feature is ready to go on to the live servers.

This is the last major update before that time. I will however keep trickling information out as it becomes available with more and more finalized implementation and testing.

Community Warfare - Phase 2 is now in a state of fruition with numerous possibilities for growth and expansion as we head into the new year. It's an exciting time for us here at PGI and the entire development staff is eager to get it in your hands and watch a new era of BattleTech InnerSphere history unfold as you, the community, drive the direction the invasion and Faction conflicts go.

I patched two nights ago, so I'm up to date with the software.

If they could add farming we'd probably get Cake to quit AA.

So it looks like with the drop ship you bring 4 mechs to each match, but they have to be within the 140-240 ton range which is an avg of 60 per mech max. So if you wanna roll with assaults you're gonna need some lights and mediums in the mix. Not a big fan of that because I don't currently own any lights because I like the heavies and assault classes.

Also, I'm guessing if you pick an Innersphere faction you can only use Innersphere mechs, and the same would go for Clans. Don't currently own any clan mechs either.

Looks like its time to start expanding my mech roster, lights and mediums for IS and all types of Clan mechs.

I have 2-3 lights, 2 mediums, 3 assaults, and I think 1 heavy...? I should be good to go.

I know you have more than 1 heavy, your main is the Cataphract, a 70 ton heavy. I was sure you have 3 of those at least. Also what Assaults do you have?

Looks like i'll be picking up the Firestarter for my light. Firestarter is 35T, Shadowhawk 55T, Jaegermech 65T, and Battlemaster 85T I'm right at the 240 ton max drop weight and that lets me bring 1 of each class.

Also Leisher, might wanna pick up some Clan mechs. They are awesome, I wanna get a few myself.

I got assaults and heavies backwards.

I don't know about clan mechs just yet. I want to look into whether or not we're on one side or the other, what we can drop in, etc.
