Dismissed.
Texas A&M dismissed student assistant coach Michael Richardson on Tuesday, one day after videos showed him hitting West Virginia players out of bounds during the Liberty Bowl.
...
Richardson was a freshman linebacker at Texas A&M in 2012 when a spine injury during a game ended his playing career. He tweeted an apology from his Twitter account (at)AggSwaggCEO.

SEC West sure is.... um, something. Losing to Notre Dame... getting blanked by TCU.

No, they kicked a field goal down 42 with 5 minutes left. That makes their loss more impressive...right? :p

(probably too early to post this, but...)

At least MSU is making up for it against Georgia Tech.

$48 million/6 years would make him the highest paid head coach in college.

He deserves it after winning national championships at Stanford! Oh wait, that didn't happen...

I mean for winning those Super Bowls! Shit, that didn't happen either...

Well, at least he's leaving San Francisco by force and leaving behind a losing team and a locker room full of players that hated playing for him.

Don't worry Michigan, recruits don't follow the NFL so they won't know any of that.

This reeks of desperation on Michigan's part. They're desperate to get back to being relevant, and they really want that buzz word coach to take the job. If he turns them down, holy shit would that be amazing. It'd be a public humiliation and would make it very tough to bring in another name. You know Les Miles has to be feeling very slighted AGAIN.
And heeeerrrre's that hate for Michigan I knew you had. :-)

I never said I didn't hate Michigan. We're rivals. Why would you think I like them? Does Catt like Duke?

However, I haven't cared about them lately. Why would I?

And can you point out the part that's factually incorrect if the $8 million a year offer, which was reported as fact, had been true? I mean, what would he have done to deserve such a ridiculously high raise?

Michigan was desperate and rightfully so. They had become a joke. Don't try to pretend that isn't the truth. They were totally irrelevant. They weren't a factor in the national championship for a while now, in the Big Ten, or even their own division this year...or since the divisions were created.

I'm thrilled they made this move. All of a sudden the Big Ten has two of the three best coaches in college. All of a sudden the Big Ten has the nation's top rivalry again. All of a sudden the Big Ten has another team that will be discussed in the national spotlight.

That's all huge. Moronic Michigan fans are running their yaps like they just won the football playoffs (reminds me a lot of how Cleveland Browns fans talk during the offseason :D ) and telling Buckeye fans how they should be afraid and blah blah blah, but truth be told, Buckeye fans are thrilled too. I've heard not a single one moan or cry about this because it's a win for us too. A strong Michigan helps everyone in the conference, not just Michigan.

And one thing the SEC does right is their fans are smart enough to know that a strong conference means each individual team gets stronger. This isn't the NFL where teams are built through the draft and free agency. Recruiting is how you build, and a weak conference drives recruits away.

But make no mistake, you hired an asshole. Urban's an asshole too, as any successful coach is, but Harbaugh wears it on his sleeve. It's no secret that he's left enemies at every job. It's no secret that one of the reasons he likes the NFL is because he hates recruiting. It's no secret that his ultimate goal is a Super Bowl ring. So enjoy the ride for now. Enjoy the new 5 Year War. I hope Harbaugh leaves Michigan in a stronger place once he does go.

I think the big loser is San Francisco. What the fuck were they thinking? He's taken you to the NFC Championship game or the Super Bowl in 3 of 4 years, so you get rid of him? The owner picked the GM over Harbaugh and he's going to pay for that. Huge mistake.

Auburn... LSU... Ole Miss... MSU... nice work.

Maybe Baylor or TCU should have replaced Bama? (OK, again posting that too early)

Please don't jinx my team.

For the record, obviously I want the win, but I can accept any loss where they were in the game. I mean they're the second youngest team in all of college football and starting a third string QB.

OK, TCU should have replaced FSU. Better? :)

I think the lesson here, though, is that OSU doesn't want Harbaugh at UM. FSU played in a pretty mediocre conference, and got somewhere they didn't belong cuz they won every game. Or maybe they did... and Oregon is just that good.

Bowl records by conference

Big 10, predicted to go 0-10, currently 5-4.
SEC, predicted to go 9-3, currently 5-5. SEC West 1-5.

Nice win, Leish!

Thanks!

I don't care if Oregon wrecks us because today was magical.

The internet has fun with FSU.

I don't care what anybody says, Cardale Jones has NFL talent. Big, fast and one hell of an arm and he can pass from the pocket (can the Browns draft him yet). Goodbye Braxton Miller and possibly could be taking JT Barrett's job.

As of now, I'd take Ohio State +7 against the Ducks. Everyone must think this is the same old big, slow big 10. Not anymore.

That's practically a threat.
