They haven't even played the conference championships yet, and fallout has begun from the regular season...
Bo Pelini fired.
Auburn fires their DC. Seems like it's CYA day in Auburn.
UAB might be shutting down their whole program. Several SEC schools will need to find a new out of conference opponent.

I have to imagine FSU is looking for a DC as well.

Hoke is gone.
In a stunning coincidence, Hoke's ouster comes on the same day that it was announced that his predecessor in Ann Arbor, Rich Rodriguez, was announced as the Pac-12 coach of the year
Just read an article that Jim Harbaugh and Butch Jones have turned them down. It also stated that half the search committee doesn't want to go after Les Miles because they feel he'll ultimately just use them to get more money from LSU and making Michigan look bad in the process.

Muschamp courted by Auburn. FSU better raise the stakes.

I enjoyed Muschamp's fall due to it being an SEC team and the way he tried to blame Meyer for the lack of talent.
4 years later and there's still no talent there Muschamp.

Not all great coordinators are made to be head coaches.
I didn't see the comments you are referencing, but here's him saying that, if I read this correctly: a) he's not a good coach, and b) he has good talent.
"They've got a deep and talented roster, so don't let that new guy tell you he ain't got any players. I can tell you that right now," Muschamp said. "There are some good football players in that locker room."

That makes his entrance even funnier. It's like he's saying, "I know what I said coming in, and I don't want to be criticized for the same thing."

That was odd. Seems like a panic hire or somebody knows somebody.

Yeah, I don't get it. Bo must have done something bad?

I saw where he was the only coach in history fired after 5 winning seasons in a row or something odd like that.
I know Bo made some controversial comments, but I think it was getting blown out by Wisconsin and losing to Minnesota that sealed his fate.

First CFP teams announced.
I'm thrilled the Buckeyes are in, and I think they can win the whole thing, but...
This whole process was a joke. How do you put TCU at 3 one week and 6 the next? How THE FUCK was TCU ranked ahead of Baylor all year when Baylor beat TCU?
The Big 12 did this committee a HUGE favor by not having a championship game. It gave them an easy out. Nobody needs to lose their job more than their commissioner.
Meanwhile, FSU was fucking the committee all year by continuing to barely win against shitty opponents. If they lose any game this year, are they even a top ten team?
End of the day though, you have 5 Power conferences and 1 independent in Notre Dame. I'm no math major, but to me 5 + 1 = 6. Why would they create a playoff that only includes 4 teams?
They need to review this whole thing in the offseason and move it to 6 or 8 teams.
6 Teams - All 5 conference champs + an undefeated Notre Dame or an undefeated "small conference team"? or a wildcard from the Power 5. Top 2 teams get byes.
8 Teams - Same thing, but 3 wildcards and no byes.
Personally, I think the 6 team playoffs would be perfect.
That all being said, Go Buckeyes!
