Family allows you to share as well. At least from the videos I saw. I can be a patron with a farm and share it with friends and family.

Is 6 gold a lot? What does that get you? How much are your taxes?

A video I watched said spruce trees were the way to go. Best profit for time/investment/farm space. But, it was an alpha/beta video, so things may have changed. But in the video, spruce trees were EVERY where.

How are the queues? Is all the land space really gone?

To grow trees you really need a large farm. Their bases are too big for most smalls.

6 Gold is a lot for something you can harvest a few times a day is awesome. It's a level one product.

Cut stone (level two product) was going at like 20-25 silver in Beta. I used that as my financial backbone.

You need it for the never ending usage recall/portal system and also in all house construction.

I logged on - to no queue earlier today and did 45 minutes of farmville. Will try to be on later tonight. Yesterday, I saw places to put small farms all over still. People are really complaining about not being able to put a house blueprint down. There is still 8x8 spots. Especially in certain zones.

Saw some in the hidden housing spots in the Elf forest, specifically.

Trying to figure out the taxes. But it's not making sense. How do you pay your taxes? In game currency? Real money? I'm reading both. Loyalty tokens? Labor points for certificates? What's up?

just got on a little bit ago, que time was about 45 mins for me too. Going to look for a spot for my small farm in a bit so I can grow some grapes. Have been using public farms for my hens but can't find a farm to grow grapes on.

You get a bill in your mailbox along with lots of other stuff like that.
You can buy it with real money and also labor (which i don't know about)

There are some zones. I think one is in lower east two crowns. That are for small farms and only small farms. And you can't have another on the server already on any character. I feel like that's a good last resort spot.

I'm standing in this zone right now. It says only scarecrow farms are allowed here when you look at it on the map, but there are houses here. There is room to build houses even, so I tried to place mine and it says there isn't room!? I don't understand this at all, not even my farm can be placed and there is obviously more than enough room

Maybe a different type of house? Maybe it's a thatched farmhouse one.

Bummer, sounds bugged.

So it's 200 labor for 5 tax certs which you can craft on a small farm. That's a LOT of labor.

I'm reading that you have to pay a month subscription to keep patron status AND you have to pay for your house? Or do you get one for free or something?

This is the elf starter region. 7-day-before-replant small farm zone, but at least you can plant on it.
