"Year 14 of my fast.... I've gained another 2 pounds."

If she really wanted to save the troops then she would go to Iraq and ask them directly what they want.
Of course, after they all told her she was insane and to fuck off, she'll say "BushCo" brainwashed them.

Is she actually famous for anything besides throwing dipshit hippie protests?
I hadn't heard of her before... well, before this thread.

Her son died in Iraq, at which point she started protesting. Last year I think.

Let's not forget that her son believed in what he was doing over there and her entire family confirmed that right before they all stopped talking to her.

And when she started protesting, her husband divorced her and family disowned her.
Oops, Leisher covered that.
What really annoyed most of us is how the media started giving her air time every night at 6 o'clock, when really she never had more than a hundred people protesting with her... and 200 journalists covering it. That and the lefties dubbed her "Peace Mom."

She's basically been lugging the dead body of her patriotic son around the country talking about how Bush killed him because he was brainwashed with their evil.

I didn't feel like eating lunch today, so basically I've been fasting since 8pm last night.
I should buy a whopper tonight, put it in a blender, and eat it smoothie-style and keep my fast going like my hero Cindy.

Actually she started the protesting some months after he died. Between 6 months and a year I think.
Once the sympathy attention died down, I'm guessing.

That's the grossest thing I've ever heard.
... Let me know how it tastes.

I fasted last night, and it was tasty: soy milk, banana, strawberries, peanut butter and protein powder with ice.
Protesting never felt so good.

That sounds like some tasty starvation!

Michelle Malkin makes fun of this "fast."

I've usually liked her written words, but this is the first time I've seen her on video. She has a very corny sense of humor. But as I, too, have a corny sense of humor, she has made me very aroused.

That is a really sad thought

Ill just clarify that heaven forbid I had lost my son doing what he passionately felt was right for him, I would have been proud of his service and would have gotten help to handle the grief. She is obviously a mental case that is going about recovery all wrong. Perhaps with the help of not so scrupulous anti war peeps?

Exactly. If this were really about her son, she should show him and his choices some respect. But it's not, she's just using his death to forward her political agenda.
It makes me want to puke.

I feel sorry for her. She can't handle the thought of her baby dead and has to find someone at fault.

I don't even think it's that. I think she suffers a similar mental disorder to the one where mothers give their children poisons to produce symptoms of an illness so they get attention and sympathy in hospitals and from friends and family. That's why I think there was the months long lull after her son's death before she started up with the anti-war thing. I think the sympathy for her was starting to fade and she needed to do something to continue feeding her illness.

My problem with her entirely. If she was alone or protesting in her own way, it would be different. But everything she says and is quoted on is like major left-wing talking-head points. It makes me say "there's an agenda here" and want to know who is really behind the curtain...
