You know, the port 9110 thing is sounding more and more familiar. I had to connect to the server from Vince's place in Memphis, once, and I think we had to use port 9110.

I think.

(PS - port 9110? )

What's the question? Why 9110? I honestly don't remember, but it had something to do with my Netgear router when I set it up.

I thought we were using 59110................... but, maybe there's some weird Microsoftery in there.

Zet - mimic leisher. try the 9110.

One of the first things I tried, 9110 is just the default port that GV uses but as you said 59110 is what yours in running. I have them both open already though.

The settings are all fine on the client I think my router is just not port forwarding correctly. Looking around I saw other people with linksys having trouble with it so maybe its a hardware thing. I may mess with it later but for tonight yeah its a no go.

Edit: nope no battlefront

Uhm, GV isn't connecting for me either. What did you do Mr. Gordo?

I haven't changed any settings from last time, and I even restarted the server today just to make sure it was good.

Hey Zet! We may have found your problem!

I actually figured whomever gave him the settings would also check their own connections at the time.

For those reading this, as it turns out it was Gordo's fault.
