Well I have to admit I'm missing the point of using the 2016 GOP election strategy statement as some sort of checkmate over the idea that one party is more evil than the other.

Not a reading comprehension fail, I saw it was a huge document and ignored it like an end-user agreement. I just know it said "2016" in 72 point font on page 2.
