The music is nifty, but the marching is awful. A civilian band just looks all sorts of sloppy to me.
What sort of soldier are you?! Square those damn corners!

Yeah, we've had this conversation before, and sorry but while the Aggies are good, they're not the OSU band.
They are the Best Damn Band in the Land.

They'd be better if they could march worth a damn.

ESPN.com polls high school recruits.
The results are very predictable: They believe they should be paid, unionize, have the recruitment phase slanted in their favor even more, don't care about diversity or social media, and they'd play with a concussion.
That last one is hilarious because doesn't it negate their opinion on everything else?
But seriously, this poll carries no weight even without the stupid concussion question and result.

Should scholarship offers have expiration dates? Yes:8.7% No: 91.3%
Go fuck yourselves.
In a follow-up interview, four-star Texas A&M tight end commitment Jordan Davis of Houston Clear Lake High School said he supports a stipend because "if they're selling our jerseys and playing with us on video games and things of that nature, we should receive something for it." Four-star receiver and Duke commitment Keyston Fuller of Griffin (Georgia) High School agreed and said college players should get something because "of all the media and attention college athletes bring to the universities."

Anything with their name and likeness, they should get a piece of that. Although it might be better to have it put into a trust to be paid out upon graduation.

Big 12 commissioner rips the NCAA.
"Enforcement is broken," he said. "The infractions committee hasn't had a hearing in almost a year, and I think it's not an understatement to say cheating pays presently. If you seek to conspire to certainly bend the rules, you can do it successfully and probably not get caught in most occasions."
That's an interesting statement when you consider how down the Big 12 has been. I wonder who he's referring to...

That's Longhorns for you. Bunch of hippies that can't spell a five letter word that's printed on every damn shirt they own.

NCAA loses O'Bannon case.
However, compensation can be limited to $5,000.
How much does it cost to go to a major college for a single year?
In not at all, but totally related news, the Power 5 conferences can rule themselves.
Awesome! I'm sure the SEC's rules will be far stricter than the other conferences...

Yeah, that sucked. I guess all the big schools are shuffling their schedules since the changes to the number of conference games.
Hopefully, they'll get another home-home scheduled so we can place bets.

I'm guessing odd of that are somewhere in the 0 to negative percent chance. I understand with the growth of conferences more conf games are neede for scheduling parity, but it's nice to see the conferences play each other more.

I think the Buckeyes will be fine.
J.T. Barrett supposedly has a high football IQ, a strong work ethic, serious skills, and has taken more reps than anyone in practice this year. The knocks on him are his inexperience and he doesn't have the arm that Braxton had. (See what I did there?)
They also play a stupidly easy schedule.
If the defense shows up this year, they can make up for some offensive struggles early. JT should be experienced by the time Michigan State hits.

More high expectations for UNC - 2nd best team in the league, Orange bowl.
