Julianna failed to tip the scale after three months.
....
My wife and I were discussing politics last night. We're both of the "a moderate white dude would have beaten Trump," which I feel a lot of people knew. But they just handed it to Harris.

Holy shit. I didn't even notice that line. Fucking hilarious.
Also, for the past three elections now, the Rs and Ds seem to be running the worst possible candidates.
"You're running Hillary? Watch us run Trump!"
"Who can counter Trump? This dementia patient."
"Well shit, we'll just run Trump again!"
"And we'll counter with this drunken idiot!"
I fully expect we'll get P Diddy vs Kanye in an upcoming election.

So tax the Jews and Whites, freeze all rent, government run grocery stores "so food is cheap", free public transport, and is that free childcare too?
If this racist dipshit wins he's going to set back NYC 50 years. What happens when the Jews, Whites, and corporations move out?

Yes, that childcare is supposed to be free and $30/hr minimum wages.
All apparently paid for by the Jews and Whites!

Argue the politics all day about whose working with whose policies. I'm really posting this because it always amazes me that stuff like this gets to the public at all. Don't these parties have teams that review everything before it goes out? D or R, you'd think they would have a discussion before posting and consider what the criticism will be so they're prepared for it.
This isn't D or R, but I really do believe that across the board from government to Hollywood to corporate America, quality of work is constantly dropping.

I know Catt hates the account, but this is pretty funny. You know when you're a D and John Oliver is calling you out, ya done fucked up.

They exist... in his heart.
I do love the irony of "lying is not allowed in this household"

I genuinely appreciate the concept of the Baileys. However, knowing they don't exist while using them as his "measuring stick" is about as shitty as it gets for a politician. Is there an easier way to tell us that you think so little of American voters that you cannot be bothered to learn the names of real people?
I hear George Santos is the only person to ever meet the Baileys...

The whole time I'm thinking "I didn't know JO goes after D's at all. He always seemed like he only attacked R's" Then near the end it's explained "They are pulling you to the right". I feel like the Baileys are pretty in the middle. But JO didn't like how right they are. So JO's not upset that he has imaginary friends. He's upset that they are pulling him to the right. In other words, he's not calling him out for being stupid, but for being too far to the right.

Strong agree.
I've said for years that we should not be legislating to the lowest common denominator.
Make sure the playing field is level by ensuring ALL have the same opportunities, but THAT'S IT!!!!
You cannot force equal outcomes. That's what charities, safety nets, and jails are for...

Yeah. There can be debate as to level of safety net (I feel it should be higher, somewhat), but yeah. But the best and brightest should be supported.

DNC rallying around Mamdani
Interesting strategy to so boldly wrap yourself around a communist and pretty blatant racist.
NYC is bound to become a paradise when he freezes rent and makes everything "free".
Ds sure do love to claim things funded by taxpayers are free.

I thought he might have a leg to stand on for a brief moment because I know Philly does something similar to professional athletes. However, I quickly realized the difference is Philly is taxing the athlete themselves, and they're just taxing them for working in the city that day. They're not taxing the team or the league.
I've been thinking a lot that the current Wall St. system, which is completely unchecked Capitalism, is going to lead us right into full blown Socialism and maybe even Communism. Corps are going to skimp and cut with nothing but the short term in mind until nobody can afford shit, and they will, in tuen, vote for Mamdanis and their "tax the corps and the rich for free stuff" agenda all over the country.

Most everywhere does that, and it's state law, not city. You probably owe SC taxes for how often you are there. Cities can pass their own taxes (NYC has them), but good luck on this one.

Unchecked capitalism might be better than what NYC has with 2.5 years to get any building approved.
