The defense.
The family of the woman who filed the complaint issued a statement Wednesday identifying Winston as her assailant and criticizing the Tallahassee Police Department's handling of the investigation. The statement said a TPD detective working on the case warned the woman's attorney that she would be "raked over the coals" if she proceeded with the complaint.

"We are not surprised with the results of the DNA," he said. "We voluntarily submitted to a DNA, the only thing we are surprised by is it was leaked out by law enforcement," he said. "The question the people should ask is why is it being leaked? For what purpose?"

No asshole, the question people should be asking is why are you claiming the sex was consensual only after the DNA puts your client at the scene?

Also, it doesn't matter if he gets convicted or not. Once he's charged, he's done.

The state of Florida is fucked again. This is going to be another nationally covered case.

Also from that article:
Jansen said he was outraged by the leak, and it harmed his client's reputation. He said the leak must have come from TPD, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement or the State Attorney's Office.

I am outraged that this leak hurt my client's rep. Only someone very irresponsible would put information out there that might not be true, and would hurt someone's reputation, so let me list my top three suspects and damage all of their reps without merit...

Lawyers.

If I were a voter, I'd do nothing. Nothing's been proven, no charges filed... nothing.

Well, Baylor's not looking to be undefeated any more. OSU is just RIPPING them... wow.

Michigan vs OSU: Me: "No, go to overtime, you're team is playing well"
Auburn vs Alabama: Dude, your kicker sucks, just take a knee and go to OT.

People need to pay me to be a end of game consultant.

I'll assume that FSU beats Duke and is a lock for the championship game.

Only question: Should they play Auburn or Missouri?

Sadly, Leisher did not take the bait.

It was way too obvious.

One thing I have laughed about all week is that Florida State's strength of schedule is rated as weaker than OSU's.

I'm used to the MSM's SEC hype. Not only has it been going on for years, but it's the same thing we see with Obama.

Also, the two most pissed off teams in the country right now are Missouri and Michigan State. All these jackass talking heads are acting like these two top ten teams don't even matter.

I look for Missouri to beat "Our last two wins were absolute miracles" Auburn, and I wouldn't be shocked if Michigan State beats OSU.

By the way, OSU Men's basketball at #5 and #3 depending on which poll you look at is insanity.

Nobody around here thinks we should be that high. The general consensus going into the season, and which remains unchanged is that we should be somewhere in the 9-15 range. Everyone I know says we're, at best, a Sweet Sixteen team.

Best defense in the country, but offense is an issue.

I swear Izzo purposely throws games in the early parts of the season to motivate his team later.

My wife (MSU grad): MSU's always better as an underdog, so this is probably good for them.

So much for Boise State.

So despite all the blah blah blah... with only 4 games left, we have exactly 2 undefeated teams. Not even No Illinois could hang on.

That's why FSU has gotten a free pass, and OSU hasn't.

Good game.

That's got to be baiting. You're too smart to post a statement that stupid.

Easily the worst game the Buckeyes have played this year, and I include the Michigan game.

I just have no idea what the game plan was going in or during the game. They barely used the NFL RB who was gaining 4 yards a carry, and instead kept running designed QB runs. They run that crap around 3 times a game all year, and during this game they run it about 15 times, against the nation's best defense, and on critical downs? You have arguably the best RB in college football sitting in your backfield, why aren't you using him?

Also, the knock on Braxton all year among Buckeye fans is that he can throw to the line of scrimmage and 50+ yards down field, but nowhere in between. That was on full display Saturday. I'm not sure that young man has the head for the position. He might simply be a more talented Denard Robinson. I'm not sure that the best OSU QB on the team was on the field...

Their most glaring problem is on defense though. I get OSU rewarding Luke Fickel for coaching the team in the transition year, but he sucks as a defensive coordinator. And as Urban Meyer learned on Saturday, unlike in the SEC, defense is important in the Big Ten.

Since Clemson doesn't like to play defense either, I figure we might see a 75-72 final score there.

Oh well, one loss in 25 games still isn't bad by any measure. The worst part of it all though, and the thing NOBODY talks about is how OSU AD Gene Smith fucked OSU. Why? We went 6-6 in 2011 and for some reason he didn't have the team sit out from a Bowl game when he should have known a bowl ban was coming. The team, coached by Luke Fickel, went out and got beat by Florida. Had he done the proper thing, the undefeated 2012 team would have played the undefeated Notre Dame team for the title instead of sitting home enjoying a bowl ban. No Alabama repeat.

I'm confused... you say that I'm dumb for posting that OSU had legit doubters all season long, then pick apart OSU 3 different ways?

That's not what you said. That might have been what you meant, but that's not how that statement read.

What exactly about OSU losing to the nation's #1 ranked defense proves FSU is deserving of their free pass? Is it how they beat a 30 point underdog in their championship game, how their schedule is ranked behind ours, or maybe how their conference has a worse non-conference win rate?

I'm confused how the two are related.
