Ok...
I saw the Julia Roberts angle coming, I had a feeling the tough cop interrogating Linus was in on the deal, and they got so loser'y at one point, with all of them dejected in jail, that I knew it had to be part of the plan.
Now... if it all went according to plan all the way through, why was it Linus seemed surprised his Mom had to "come save him in Rome," and was upset to know Dad knew? There would be no shame if it was all according to a master plan.
So, were they fucking up, and got saved? That was what I meant in the other thread with "It was fun to see them being so cool and in control through 11, and some of that control and coolness was lost in 12."
