That's kinda amazing. Strains credulity at first blush. Especially in a world where holding happens nearly every down.

Based on all the other B1G teams there, I guess it's safe to say "They let 'em play."

Interestingly, that was always a knock on B1G basketball. It's a very physical style, obviously enabled by the refs, but it doesn't translate to March when you're being refed by other leagues' officials.

Yeah, Michigan, OSU, Oregon, PSU, and Iowa all being in the top 9 makes it dramatically less conspiratorial, imho. So many more in the top 36 as well.

Insane.

What was the point spread, 100?

And were both teams barred from playing defense?

I couldn't find one. I wonder if it was just too big for casinos to touch

That does happen, and this game shows why.

Looking at the first bracket, it seems to me that the committee purposely set it up for rematches/conference showdowns. GA-Bama, OSU-Oreg, Ind-ND, A&M-Ole Miss.

Lincoln Riley could be on the move.

Honestly, going to LSU or PSU would be the right move for him. PSU is probably the right gig because I don't want him to go there...

He needs to be in a football program in a football town. USC has good history, but football isn't life there.

Went to the first round NCAA games here in Raleigh last year. Florida was one of the teams playing, and that guy was red shirting last year. Absolute fucking giant. Even sitting down he was a head taller than everyone else.
