ENdorsed Kamala.

What's interesting is he could resign right now and make her president today.

My un-PC feelings on Kamala:

This election is not going to be determined by all the liberals in CA and NY going "Yessss, Queen"

It's going to be determined by the 100k voters in 7 swing states. Play it safe. Make sure she's actually electable in those places. If not, ride the final decision to the convention and let the public fervor and opinion go wild and drive Trump crazy as he sits in the shadow.

I really think Biden's only power move left would be resigning tomorrow.

If he was bitter about being "forced out," this would be his play.

Or, he fully tests the power given to him by the Supreme Court under "official acts"

e:: the ability to step aside and turn down power is pretty incredible.

Once the "Biden is too old, etc." plays out - I think he's remembered well.

Can't say I agree with that sentiment. Not saying anyone would be wrong to feel that way. I know some people will always look back upon a president fondly, especially if they voted for them. However, the facts don't suggest that would be a correct viewpoint.

-All the Covid shit that was forced and has turned out to be bullshit. Everyone involved in government during this time, fairly or unfairly, is going to be stuck with "Hindsight Criticism". (This alone was the largest issue that lost Trump re-election. Despite his ignorant mouth and how much he ran it, his job rating was pretty high until Covid.)
-Biden's job approval rating as of this month is 38.7% and disapproval is at 55.8% (Here)
-He was getting crushed in his re-election bid by possibly the biggest liar/exaggerator ever to run for office.
-Possibly the most lies ever by an administration. To this day they still claim Biden created more jobs than any president because they count all the jobs that returned after Covid. Took credit for 1M vaccines a day program that Trump's administration actually had in place. The past 6 months of them talking about how sharp Biden is and there's no mental decline. The constant gaslighting on the economy. And so on.
-Homes became unaffordable killing "The American Dream".
-People are struggling to afford necessities.
-Record CC debt.
-The deficit is at a record high.
-High gas prices.
-He has shrunk our oil reserves to record lows.
-Out of control inflation. (Granted, that seems to have stopped now.)
-Border crisis that he singlehandedly created. An issue that has bipartisan condemnation.
-Sued states to ensure they didn't do anything to stop the flow of illegals into the U.S.
-Rushed Afghanistan pullout resulting in U.S. soldier deaths and the deaths of many allied Afghans. Not to mention that the Taliban got a fuck ton of free American weapons and equipment.
-Got us embroiled in two wars.
-Released several billion to Iran because...they have done nothing to improve their behavior?
-His blatant racism both before and during the presidency.
-The fact that he's a multimillionaire despite his salary not explaining that fortune.
-"The Big Guy" that we're all supposed to pretend wasn't him.
-Everything about Hunter.
-His mental decline.
-His showers with his daughter at 13 years old that was "right wing conspiracy" until the diary was actually discussed in a courtroom, and yet, somehow still isn't getting MSM attention. Not to mention his "sniffing" habit.

Manchin vs Harris?

They should have a period of time where people can vote on who they want the nominee to be...

Biden forgave the student loan debt, which if nothing else was finally irresponsible government spending for actual people, and not a corporation, again. So I will give Biden props for that.

But everything else has been the illusion that he does stuff better than trump, when in most cases the opposite is true.

No way I'm reading all that. I made it to the first bullet and was like... wasn't Trump the President when COVID hit, the lockdowns hit, etc?

I'm constantly reminded by the current frontpage of DTMAN.com, that time cures nearly everything.

Obama is looked back at extremely fondly. Or as much as one can in this political environment. Apparently he was "full of scandals" while in office.

If Biden's move avoids a second Trump Presidency, none of that list will matter.

Nobody is going to care about those pictures of Hunter Biden's penis, except for Fox News, and maybe Leisher?

I'm not going back to read my dumb thoughts of twenty years ago. Thank God, I grew and changed

Maybe this will be the impetus to take all that down.

All I'm saying is that if nobody cares Jared K's family company effectively got $2 Billion dollars for nothing from the Saudis while serving IN the government, nobody is going to care that Hunter Biden caught a gun charge, did some blow, and fucked a bunch of hookers, while being a private citizen.

Well, as long as the other side did something too, then none of it matters. . .

Leisher's claims are all valid. All of the stuff happened. However, most of it would have happened no matter who was in office. And the things that were relevant to Biden alone (showers with kids and sniffing, etc) would have been replaced with other things relevant to the other person (pussy grabbing and hush money for instance). None of them (politicians) are any good, and it would be nice if we could stop pretending like any of them are.

Just because we as humans tend to forget the bad stuff and only remember the good stuff, doesn't mean the bad stuff didn't happen. It should be learned from. . . but rarely ever is.

Your first sentence isn't my point. This one is.

People even look fondly on Bush 2, these days, and he started a full kinetic ground war in the ME. Over some bullshit.

Clinton got a BJ in the oval office.

Obama drone struck more Americans than anyone.

All of them are thought of generally fondly now-a-days.

How do you think the public will remember the guy who willingly stepped down from running for the most powerful office in the land when he was already in it? e: there have been at least one to do it, I'm unclear exactly who qualifies and doesn't if you count someone taking over from a dead President.

He'll be remembered as fondly as Nixon? :-D

Except Nixon also created the EPA so still a high bar.

It's wild to think of a time before the EPA. I was talking to an older atty about how much more colorful the sunsets in LA county used to be before they came around. Pretty crazy.

And Nixon was a two term President, who dropped out in his second term, due to scandal. Disqualified.
